I know it’s quite late, but here’s my tribute to Judith Durham (1943-2022), the lead singer of this fantastic band, who I think are perhaps the ‘forgotten 60’s supergroup’. The Seekers rose to fame almost overnight with the release of their 1964 single, “I’ll never find another you”, which skyrocketed to number one, leaving the Seekers with the legacy of reaching number one with their very first single, something nobody has been able to achieve since. Their string of hits to follow included “A World of our Own”, “Georgy Girl”, and of course, “The Carnival Is Over”.
