Hello and Welcome.

I've been riding motorcycles around the Appalachian mountain roads my entire life starting in the Northern Appalachians around the Ramapo mountains about 40 miles outside of NYC. I currently ride around the NC Blue Ridge Mountains on weekends on my 2021 Kawasaki ZX6R. My usual ride is about 200 miles in 5 hours from 7am-12.

I've been using K&N Air Filters since the mid 80's on every car and motorcycle I've owned and have gone 80k+ miles on K&N multiple times without cleaning, gone thru a complete recharge kit and have never had any problems or evidence of oil, dirt, etc in the air box or intake. After watching videos on RUclips that were full of misinformation I decided to start a series debunking K&N misinformation and presenting legitimate K&N information from David Vizard, K&N, and others who do correct testing.
