Ferry flight Ramp Transfer Jinan
Просмотров 2543 года назад
Due to the COVID restrictions arriving normally sets off a 14 day quarantine. The only way to avoid that is to land in a private charter aircraft and walk accross the ramp to the aircraft. As soon as passports are stamped we departed. The aircraft is a 737-800F having just gone through a cargo conversion.

Haha, this video kinda tricked me. Thought we were high above a cloud layer, but then I hear "500", we dive into the fog(!) and then immediately land.
This is actually very HARMFUL to the engines. and consumes ALOT of fuel!
@@tonyde52 I had no choice. They didn’t have a tug.
Here comes the River Dance!
awesome video! I go to Gravelly Point all the time and always wondered how it looks from the planes’ perspective
The River Dance!
Love your plane shot! Can I feature it in my project with credit? Thanks!
@@flightmode254 No problem.
@@eprn1n2 Thanks
I thought that was the clouds
Aulani Disney👍
Excellent video, Bro! Can i use it as part of my video for my channel? You will be credited in the video. and you get a backlink to your original video in my description. thanks
Sure. Subic Bay, Philippines. Operator had no tug. We were moving it to a new owner.
What date and month did you film and where is that plane departing to?
This was at Subic Bay airport in the Philippines. It ended up in Kiev. Astro Air had no tugs and thus the extra long power back.
Interesting capture! May I feature this powerback in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. All the best to you!
Sure. This is at Subic Bay airport.
Thanks 😊
When my In-laws or relatives from out of town were around the 1st thing they wanted to see was the planes coming and going at DCA from Graverly point. So that became a major attraction and a place we would go to. Along with the Museums. 😊😊
I'm watching without audio right now, and I honestly can't make out at what point the aircraft touched down. Well done!
FO was so amazed that he forgot to switch to ground.
Great video really appreciate this as often fly in and out of here and also enjoy the park for plane spotting
who you callin retard?
I was stationed on Alpha Docks P.H. Navy Base......... as they cross the entrance to Pearl I see all of my old home along with some added things but I guess after 50 years things change.......seems still like a few months ago...... I know the International Market Place was torn down and rebuilt ( BAH HUMBUG ) but the Banyon Tree is still alive........ cool ride along.😎
No matter how many times I did this I was always nervous
It helps putting up the rear view mirrors on the dash!!
This flew right over my home. I used to sit out back and watch the planes make final approaches.
The last bank turn to level out and line up approach always gets me on edge. Watching all those planes landing on the river visual from the jefferson memorial is fun, (but then boring after awhile lol) at that point they're at 500 feet on final approach! damn that's scary.
Nice!
that high up, 1000ft looks like 100ft
That was a lot closer than 1000
@@robertwilcox6760Seems closer but the minimum separation is 1000’.
@@eprn1n2 I know all this and I'm extremely worried I think it's just a matter of time because this guy is too crowded and all the idiots that are coming out of today's colleges that don't know who they are or where they belong or how to count money or how to make change or what bathroom do you use and are going to be sitting in a controlled Tower or something when my aircraft is having an emergency and I need to land
Beautiful approach.. I love seeing the planes take off and land at reagan.
im just curious do you have the flight plan by chance? I want to fly this in the simulator
Unfortunately not. We originated in Sanford, Florida. Next day we went to Jakarta.
that's alright but thanks for the reply@@eprn1n2
This pilot used only 2,000 feet of runway between touchdown and turnoff!
That's awesome. I'll never be able to do this in real life, but this approach is one of my favs in MSFS. Thanks for sharing the real thing.
Why won't you be able to do it in real life?
@@thecomedypilot5894 Pilot and land an A320 all the way down to landing at DCA? If you can, that's awesome.
@@sky173 Well just wondering, do you have an aspiration to become a pilot? If so, you can make these approaches all the time.
@@thecomedypilot5894 I do... health issues have placed a damper on that. lol
@@sky173 What health issues do you have? Many get waivered
Great video! Brings back fond memories of pre-9/11 days. GA practically all but barred from DCA since thanks to TSA. Made almost weekly trips into DCA for nearly 15 years and always loved the River Visual from the North and the Mt. Vernon Visual from the South. Pax always enjoyed these scenic approaches.
It’s like walk through a park.
The MD80 was a comfortable ride
I miss flying it.
👏
Reminds me of the Trident in the 1960s with its non-HUD system. Just as good.
Wow great capture and very high quality video! Am I allowed to use it in one of my videos (with credit/a link in the description)?
Certainly!
can I use this video? with credits of course!
Certainly!
I was wondering if I could feature your video on my other channel @capt_usama (Mr.Pilot). Your channel will be given significant exposure and will be prominently mentioned in both the video and its description.
Any clue what was the speed at touchdown? Looked fast, but maybe an illusion.
Normal. Vref + 5
A340 delivery flight via HNL? Was this going to Air Tahiti?
It ended up in Afghanistan doing Haj flights. It was the 340 seen with people climbing on it when the US pulled out. This flight eventually ended up in Jakarta where they did maintenance. We then took it to Mazar-I-Sharif after it was done.
That's incredible! Would you be okay with me featuring this in my series Weekly Dose of Aviation? Of course you will be credited both in the video and in the description.
That’s fine.
Noice!
Wow, didn’t know those had the range. Question:was this aircraft a DC-9 Super 80 , or if MD80 general designation for all the MD80 types, was this actually an MD-81,82,83,87,88 etc?
This is a Japanese MD-81 so it has the standard tanks. We made it direct to Cold Bay once. Range to Midway is not too bad. This was one of a group of 16 MD-81s that came over.
@@eprn1n2 Nice! Thanks!
Hula Girl on the glare shield panel nailed it 🤩
Hi there, amazing clip! May I feature this in one of my videos, of course you will be credited in the video and description.
No problem.
Awesome capture! May I feature this landing in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. Cheers!
No problem.
Landed there 4 times when I was in the Navy 72 to 75 transiting from Adak to Honolulu
天空很美麗
This brings back memories of many fun times.
A blast from the past!! How are you.
That landing was a greaser, nice work.
Used to work at Signature Flight Support (general aviation terminal at the south end). LOVED FLYING into Reagan National (pre-9/11). They were an extremely great ATC, and, I'm sure they still are👍
There Is no greater joy, than for a pilot to do as smooth of a landing as that !
Incredible approach incredible landing! What a perfect day for a visual too. Thank you for sharing.
Once the aircraft is in its descent pattern, in contact with the control tower, and has to make several turns, or sometimes the u-turn pattern when first descending above the airport and then making the u-turn to continue descending back towards it, it's the control tower who tell the pilots exactly when and where to turn the plane, am I right?
Landing's the easy part, try and figure out where to go taxiing in that shit is a whole nother ball game..
whaty yr was this landing? there were no runway lights when i was there. once a night c5 landing all the bases cars ,trucks had to fall out . to light it up..i was there with my dodge 69, pickup.navy gray..2 am..
This was 2011. There were lights at this time. This is a link to my first landing at Midway which was done at night because of the birds. ruclips.net/video/M52bNeiBrK0/видео.html
