Steep Turns and Stalls | Piper Archer II | Check Out Part 1
Just uploading this is its own form of comedy
Camera man had one job to do.
It’s not available in my country. Any ideas?
My best suggestion is to move.
They say the cameraman never dies?! I beg to differ!
I'd say I'm a Drone operator not a pilot
?
Then please tell the FAA to leave us alone!
AMERICAN OUTLAW!!
i guarantee u drone pilots will be around longer than actual pilots. this video wont age well IMO, but we'll see
Nice job filming the grass grow.
"a person who operates the flying controls of an aircraft." Just because you need to be reminded of the definition. Aviation industry has a lot of ego involved. Unless you're a mil pilot, your platform is likely not that interesting. Drones are just a different platform. Of course if you can fly a drone doesn't mean you can fly a cessna. But if you fly a cessna, you also can't fly an F-18 or a helo. Manned piloting (for now) is much more involved with comm and checklists. But that doesn't make drone pilots, not pilots.
hes hurt! LOL
It's very clear the tail wheel was unlocked from the video, then it swivels sideways. Any of us could have done this, so sad.
Great job camera man, sheesh.
Point the camera at the ground syndrome, it’s a thing .
No one is mentioning differential power, with sufficient runway remaining a touch of power would have pulled the aircraft to the right and added some airflow (effectiveness)to the rudder-vertical stab.
All he needs is a pilots license and there ya go!
Dan Gryder needs to do a Probable Cause video on this one.
I think he’s done a couple videos on this one
Missed it.
Man, that unfocused grass is extremely interesting!
Avare also.
Great camera work.
Masterful camera work.
Hey Dan, can you investigate this? Or will you ignore it too like the 150 you crashed in Illinois?
Worst camera man ever
Only had one job and then has the audacity to post it
Pretty sure your premature balding is hurting you much more than any of us care about the semantics of FAA 107
Premature? Brother it’s right on time. Also. Imagine being a whole adult that has resorts to making fun of someone’s appearance.
I like where they showed us the incident
WTF ?!?!? Why did you point the camera at the ground 😐 😂😮😢😠
WTF??? are you kidding me...never let this idiot take another video
Hmmm I fly drones and never had some notion that I was anything other than a drone pilot. Sounds like you have some issue with it more than other people. We can all easily distinguish the difference, but the word ‘pilot’ isn’t some exclusive word. It literally means anyone who operates the controls of an aircraft. We don’t go around thinking kids who run remote control cars are licensed drivers either. It’s just that nobody gets butthurt if someone says they are ‘driving the car’. The only reason to bring something like this up is to remind people that airplane pilots are still special and different from all the rest….and ok? I’m an engineer and I’ve never thought to ask someone for qualifications when they said they engineered something. That would be really pretentious, right? I didn’t even know this was a thing. Are airplane pilots upset because the word applies to drones too?
To the camera person - You had ONE job! Absolute clown.
Betting Dan didn't make a jump to a conclusion on this one. Wonder why?
What it appears is that the landing was to fast.....2nd, anytime you decide to wheel land a tailwheel, you just increased your chances of loss of control by 80%+. 3rd, looks like no checklist was used, it appears that the tailwheel is unlocked! Someone needs more dual! 4th, the Lockheed has an issue with directional control sometimes, especially landing to hotdog fast, one cure, as soon as you touchdown, raise the flaps immediately. Or add a little power on # 1....known as differential power control! It only takes about 200-400 RPM to fix it....Again, someone need more dual! Overall solution and fix: DO NOT LAND FAST, 1.3 Vso and read the flight manual and keep tailwheel lock as per the manufacture!! As a retired 40+ DPE in B-17, DC-3 & DC-3TP and everything in between......
What does "anytime you decide to wheel land a tailwheel, you just increased your chances of loss of control by 80%+" mean? Don't all land aircraft with wheels land on their wheels? What's the alternative?
Hey, thanks for the reply. I don’t think you’re a pilot or understand the concept of landing multi engine tail wheel airplanes you may want to get the read some and get educated on that. I don’t have the time to go ahead and explain all that to you.
Fawking wasting my time hurts more
😘
This will probably gunna hurt you. But you were more than likely bullied in school. Ya 🤡
Teaching what not to do through experience.
fake didn't crash or would have been videoed
That’s a bush plane for anyone wondering. They’re made to operate without infrastructure such as runways or roads, and are essentially STOLs.
camera operator needs a new career
The tailwheel is clearly not locked.
I felt it in my soul.
From which perspective? The CFI or the Students?
I don’t get why when people see something like this they have the instinct to film the ground or there feet
Honestly, I could really care less. I just want the paperwork to find my drone and maybe make a buck absolutely don’t care about flying a plane and I never will. I think it just hurts you specifically.
The FAA and the NTSB are to blame, obviously.
great camera work!
I’m guessing Dan Gryder was the probable cause
What is it?
Do your planes use leaded gasoline?
Thank goodness this accident wasn’t recorded
