'Muga' dates back to the 13th century, primarily used by the prestigious Ahom Nobles; has now undergone a series of changes both in its production and utilization. In the world of synthetic, Muga glued its position in people's minds restoring cultural and traditional ethics. Although the making of Muga is a tedious journey, the final golden lustrous product is worth everything. It’s not just a piece of silk but a culture Assam wears with utmost pride.
