Question does this let you export a single card from a collection? Also is there a way to export cards onto a specific paper size. Reason I ask is when we playtest games I like to update cards on the fly. I bought a Canon SELPHY printer that prints on postcard size paper. So it helps that I can print two cards at a time.
@@gregorymcnew88 It's possible to choose individual cards and a specific deck in the exporter and then choose to only export the card in the preview to get one card from a deck. There's also a variety of paper standards with a dynamic layout, cards flow to pages automatically with various configurations. (Iso a3, a4, a5, letter, legal, tabloid, ansi a, ansi b). There's a limited demo with watermarks available on the store page if you want to check it out. The tool is still in active development so do let me know if you have any suggestions for the tool if you decide to try the demo 😄

Hey man, good stuff!. Just curious did you have any IT background before you started game dev? and did you ever follow any game dev or C# courses?
Thanks! My background is actually construction, but I got into an accident, so I started an IT journey 2 years ago. However, the dream has always been to turn my programming hobby into a career. I did watch some Brackeys tutorials when I first wanted to learn gamedev 10 years ago, and I did all of the free C# courses on Codecademy earlier this year in preparation of a software development certification. Other than that, I've had the most fun coding when I've just tried new implementations and constantly challenged myself to improve my code. I have also done a lot of googling throughout the years 😂Not the most efficient way to learn, but it did spark a passion
how did u make this program ? i mean did u use unity or like other game engines? or did u just coded without them?
Software is usually made with something like .NET as the framework and something like React for the interface. For Card Engine however, I decided to try Unity, as it has become flexible over the years, and it runs surprisingly well when a project is stripped from unnecessaries. Making it entirely from scratch would give better performance, but using Unity lowers the development time drastically

This looks so epic. Been using card creator for the better part of 6 years. It’s easy to use but very limited and slow for large card/board games. Interested to see how this goes.
