Have to say, I'm vibing with this idea fella, I also have my own plans on how they could have go about it. For me personally, I would have liked to see explored the two sides of the coin when it comes to Corey and Laney's relationship, on the one hand the amouth of comedic potential it had to see someone as naive and hotheaded as Core being in love for the first time would have been such a threat to see, combined that with his lack of understanding on what love actually is you have comedy gold I tell you. And on the other hand they could have made the relationship have meaning, like think about it; It's no music video, not a life or dead situation, it's just the two of them talking about their feelings. And you take this as an opportunity for subtle character development, on Corey's side this would the first time he's scared and thinking ahead for once, on what might happened if they end up like every other couple he saw, in stupid fights, desagriments, friendships being destroyed, etc. And on the other side you have Laney, who is like: "Core, I undertand where are you coming from, If I'm honest that was the reason why I was always scared about confesing, because I though it wouldn't work, that it would have destroyed are friendship and the band would split forever" "Doesn't that terrified you, that our friendship, all our memories together.... were all in vain" "Yes, it did. That was until I realize that, I've know you my whole life and while we had our desagriments and fights over the years, "mostly because you didn't listen to me and I was a grouchy mother hean" cough cough* we always found a way to make it work. And I feel that, all those couples you said always end up like that because, they see a problem and they just give up. But you, you always taught me that you can't give up, because, every problem has a solution, no matter how absurd or insane it might be there's always a way. A plan that might just work, yeah? "Yeah, you're right" I'm not really good at writing so take this with a grant of salt =/ In summary, my though process in all of this is to show how the two of them have rub on each other, Laney with her more cynical and logical way of thinking and Corey with his more positive out look on life and it's problems. They change each other's lifes and perspectives for the better. If they did something like this but more simplified it had the chance of being something really beautiful, wouldn't you agreed? P. S. Sorry that I ramblee too much, I just needed to get this of my chest and share it with someone because I genuinely adore this show and his characters ")

Mine to bro, I love that this show is so inconcinsting and insane with his characters but the fact that they never forgot about Laney's love for animals through the run of the series is Impressive and cute at the same time.

I honestly love their dinamic so much, and you know the funny thing that I pick up on my latest rewatch is that, Corey by nature is a very touchy type of person, but it always seems to me that he finds to most random opportunity ever to have some sort of physical contact with Laney in EVERY single freaking episode, the hugs and arms around her shoulder are one thing but the boops on the nose, the little guy doesn't really get the meaning of "Be Subtle" now Does he? XD It's really obvious that the boy has subconscious feelings for her, but he's either to ignorant or stuburn to realize it. No matter how hard he tries, he can't resist the urge of having some sort of physical contact, He's such an idiot, but at the end of the day that's why we love him, and you know what, I think in the final episode he seem to figure it out, don't you think so? *;)* Also, wicked to see another Grojband fan!!!
