Very nice! Those are gorgeous cars, for sure. A few things to note: those little, rectangular plates on the Viewliner Sleeper are number boards, which display the assigned number of that sleeper. When you book a sleeper car, your ticket indicates the number of the sleeper that you will be in. This is the same for Viewliners and Superliners. On the Viewliners, the top windows are only on one side, where the full bedrooms are, while the roomettes are on both sides of the car. On the lower level of the combo baggage car, the baggage compartment replaces the lower level seating. Either way, a great review on some beautiful cars. An excellent video, as always.

My personal belief when it comes to these very heavy, diecast models is that they rubber traction tires need to be gotten rid of. The 2-rail scale people do not have traction tires and why do 3-rail scale persist in having them? Let the wheels slip, like the real thing and like our old toy trains.

On rolling stock for me a close race between Atlas, & MTH. Lionel a distant 3rd. Atlas more detailed then MTH. On the downside VERY DELICATE ESPECIALLY DURING HANDLENG. MTH WHILE LESS DETAILED CAN TAKE TO SOME DEGREE SOME ROUGH HANDLEING.

This looks more like the old 1937 lionel 700e to me than the Lionel vision line version, can't put my finger on it, maybe because your mth is less glossy. Anyway, congrats on acquiring such a beautiful steam engine. d

Thank you, thank you ,for your review on these O scale passenger cars. I have looked at other reviews on these cars by other U Tube channels and I still have mixed feelings about my reserved order. Yes ,they are quite expensive and when I reserved An E -7 AA diesel unit and a eight car passenger set with one additional passenger car ,I was looking at a price tag of about $ 4, 700.00. That does not include taxes and shipping and when you reserve your order ,it is stated that there may be an increase in price which did happen. I an a little put off with this because I feel that once a person reserves the product that price at the time of being reserved should be locked in . Once the product is going to be available ,the buyer has the choice of accepting it or cancelling it. I committed myself to the purchase of the diesel units ,but I have not been contacted yet regarding the passenger cars and at the time that I reserved the passenger cars ,it was stated that they will be delivered around December 24,2024 . During the time before I take delivery of passenger cars,I have been purchasing preowned /used Golden Gate Depot passenger cars to get a sense of their quality and work man ship. For that kind of money ,I am a little disappointed based on the preowned cars that I have ,but they say that with each rerun of a series of passenger cars,the tooling is improved . To purchase just one passenger car ,it will cost you $340.00 ,thus my entire purchase for the two diesel locomotives ,an eight car passenger set ,and an additional passenger car will be a total of $ 5,000.00 plus taxes and shipping . I just hope that the quality warrants the very high price tag . Again,thank you for your review.
