Bag in any bagpipe or bladderpipe performs a function of reservoir or third lung. The glove here is just a decorative thing, you can easily get rid of it.
@@Klabauterbub the main difference between these two bagpipes that mr.Pollack's bagpipe has a backward valve and mr.Elwell's hasn't. This is the reason why he can't blow the big glove balloon and his glovepipe works only with human exhale.
There’s a helpful chart at around 9:00; you’ll need to measure the total length of your pipe, and then calculate percentages of that using the chart. I hope that helps!
You need to put a valve between the mouthpiece and the glove! Without the valve you can't inflate the glove because the air will escape from the mouthpiece. And if you can't inflate it... it's just useless :)
I would be interested to see/try a version with a valve included, too. That might require less steady air pressure. But as you can see in my video, the glove inflates just fine.

That's because all the air in the glove (the pressure inside the glove is quite high, you can see that the rubber is really stretched) can escape only from the pipes. The valve does not allow air to go backwards through the mouthpiece. Yes, your glove inflates, but when you stop blowing, the bagpipe doesn't play anymore. I hope I explained well the concept :)
If you want to be able to tune them a little better you can try to make the drone pipe like a very small trombone slide and tune it that way, you can make the drone out of PVC pipe because you don't need to drill holes in it

You are using a nitrile glove it appears. Latex should be way more stretchy.
