This movie is so underrated. The best horror movie I have seen so far after Drag me to Hell, The Eye, Mama and Sinister

I can't watch Before I Wake without getting emotional at the end, and that's saying a lot. But it hits me so hard at the end, as the theme of childhood trauma connects with me on a very personal level due to my own experiences, making this the only film thus far that I've ever truly cried during. Honestly, I rarely ever see anything in the horror genre, but I find that this is no ordinary horror film. For all the scary imagery, I find that it all comes together in the end in a way that's beautiful, heartbreaking, and about as perfect an ending as it could be, which is why I find Before I Wake to be such an underrated film.

I remember last March I was waiting for a call from my parents. I decided to watch this movie in the meantime, having liked Mike Flanagans shows for Netflix. An hour after the movie ended I got a call from my parents. My grandfather had died after being in palliative care for a week. Now my uncle has been diagnosed with cancer.

When the little boy read "canker" and it all clicked... damn. I was genuinely shocked. Adding his trauma to the ending was brilliant

I watched this movie a month after my dad passed from cancer and I was NOT expecting this ending. Took me on a roller coaster of emotions. Freaking brilliant writing tho! Even if it wasn't necessarily very scary, I still give it a 10/10 review for pure creativity and thoughtfulness when it comes to producing this villain.

Not surprised that they didn't have any martial artists deal with these monsters. Just the werewolf would rip them all apart due to it's body being about 97.5 percent muscle while still having agility that is 7.8 times better than an average human. Not to mention the teeth and claws
