You also do not understand the relationship between Catholics and Mother Mary. Do not be like the scribes and pharisees of Christ's days. Understand His underlying message in His Teachings. Also, I'm very sure He honoured His Mother (Mary). Catholics do not worship Mary. As Mary asked Christ for help in 'supplying' wine at a wedding, we ask Mary for intercession to Christ for His help and mercy. Be Christ-like. Peace be with you ❤️

@malcolmscrivener8750 Christ healed on Sabbath, to the anger of the scribes and pharisees of His day, seen as going against the Law. Mary asked Christ to help 'supply' more wine at the wedding. I'm sure Christ honoured His Mother. Catholics do not worship Mary but we seek her intercession with Christ for help and mercy, hoping and praying that He will accede, never leaving Him out in our prayers. You need to understand the special relationship Catholics have with Mother Mary, just like Christ. Peace be with you ❤️

if the Bible teaches us to only pray to God, and the only way you can "communicate" to mary is by praying to her, then just don't do it. you're disobeying God for something _you_ think is correct. also, the fact that she isn't omnipresent like God means she can't hear your prayers. (or i guess requests, even though you are literally praying to her)

@@419 Hes asking for someone to pray for him bottom line and your statements would contradict the passages from Luke where the rich man in hell is asking Abraham to send Lazarus to help him how did Abraham refuse to help the rich man if he couldn't hear him ? None of this requires omnipresence or omniscience and nobody ascribes those qualities to Mary or anybody outside of the trinity you're just making that up. Are you saying Abraham is omniscient and omnipresent to be able to hear people in hell ? If not then I dont see how asking for people in Heaven to pray for you while you are still on earth is an issue..... I used to be an altar boy - served every mass for 6+ years - we absolutely prayed to mary and all the saints - from confession we are given a prayer to mary and a prayer to God.

No because who would pay for them then? God has to be fair. He can’t let the people who sinned all their lives and didn’t put his faith in him in the same place as those who followed him and did good, so by sacrificing himself (as the son), HE paid for the sins, and all you have to do is put your faith in Jesus and follow his teachings.

@ I was indoctrinated in Christianity as a child when I had no critical thinking capacity, I’ve studied scripture and don’t believe everything in the Bible is true. I particularly don’t like the parts about how to treat slaves, what should be done to homosexuals, how god will abort babies conceived during an affair, gods sacrificing his own son when he could’ve done it a different way, god encouraging his followers to sacrifice their sons, etc.

please show me where God allows praying to or through anyone other than God - Mary, Apostles and others. Show me where the Bible allows graven images to be prayed to - I was an altar boy long time - we bowed down to these images at every mass and we prayed to them. Show me where the Bible tells us to perform repetitive prayers Show me in the Bible where it says we can have a representative for Christ on earth - the pope is called the Vicar of Christ - replacement for Christ and it is taught he is infallible Show me where in the Bible it says we must be of a certain age to break bread in memory of Christ - show me where it says we must go through these ceremonial sacraments to belong to God Show me in the Bible where Mary ascended to heaven body whole. Show me these things in the Bible and I will return to catholicism today

@TheGoodBible Plenty of research I have done and continue to. History tells us of many different creation tales. Many cultures with different versions. Many I have read myself. So the best way to judge is to classify which versions make the most reasonable sense. And which are mere legend and fantasy. Genesis does contain a talking serpent, magic fruit, women formed from a rib. This is language consistent with fairytale and fantasy. At least that's how it looks on the surface.
