Your right it's absolutely a cracker of a spot on the Wilson River. 👌 Built by forestry commission and uni students back in the mid 70s.👏👏 May i suggest you visit the punchbowl waterfall (keep the kids on a leash) Also the beautiful Wilson river Reserve. My dad was a forester in the area for many years. We thought it fitting to spread his ashes at the old tower site a park he was instrumental in creating. I'm so glad to see the kids enjoying the bush, just like i did 50+ years ago😃🇦🇺

Mmmm yummy, grew up eating Banh mi. It was so cheap back then before it hits mainstream. All the Asian kids would get banh mi instead of Subway, mcd or etc. cause it was so inexpensive. The standard is the cold cut. Most people like the grilled pork, grilled chicken, Vietnamese meat balls...

Those burgers did look good, especially Big G's. I agree though, it needed beetroot! I was originally going to say pineapple too, but then you found some. That made me somewhat happy. It was quite impressive that despite both burgers seeming to be quite juicy, both buns held together until the very end. Taree was our stop point when we were travelling from Newcastle to Nambucca as kids. There was a takeaway there somewhere and mum would stop and get us hot chips. They were wrapped in newspaper with lashings of vinegar. Mum would tear the top off and we'd just have to stick our hand in, without having to unwrap them, so we could eat them in the car. We would have a serve each or we'd fight over it. They were real chips and were so good! We'd also stop at a park there to let off some steam. I have no idea where it is, but from memory it had a fountain in it. I should go for a drive into Taree when I'm up that way in 4 weeks. I clearly remember the bridge as a kid. It was one of the highlights of a long car trip, decades before technology. There wasn't even a radio in the car for years!

It really is so hard to find a decent mushroom pie. They all seem to be severely lacking in mushrooms. That one looked fantastic! I'll be up that way again in 4 weeks, I might have to take a trip into town and check it out. Thanks for another awesome review!

The last time I really struggled with parking, I thought I was a couple of kms away. I'm a fat bastard so I was dripping with sweat. I checked it on google maps the next day and it was 800m. A 500m walk might be a little rough, but for a 10/10 pie, I might try it.

I've only been to Costco once. My step daughter took me. I wasn't hungry, but she grabbed a slice of pizza on the way out, and it looked absolutely amazing. I was kicking myself afterwards that I didn't get a slice too. That was at the Boolaroo store.

I spent a few years living in Cardiff, only 2 or 3 streets from this place. Sadly, it wasn't there when I lived there, but it looks like somewhere I'd enjoy. I wonder given the location, the industrial area, whether everything is catered for the local workers. 5 out of 5 pies, rather than 5 out of 5, because the locals are happy with what's being served up? Great review though. I'll be back up that way in 4 weeks, so I may even go and give them a try.

Renee, they're always kids, even when they're 50! Ask my mum! I love that you travel with your kids to do reviews, but you don't pimp them. They are behind the scenes, and I love that. I follow a bloke in the US that does cooking videos and his kids are in the background, but they aren't filmed. When they're of age and are happy to be filmed, that's OK, but not when they're still kids. I live in Orange these days, but I grew up in Newcastle. I can't remember what that shop on the corner was, but 2 doors up, opposite the school, was Casper's takeaway. Oh my effing goodness. I don't think I've ever had takeaway as good as that place! They did these whopping great salmon rissoles, OMB, they were to die for! I believe the shop has moved down into the main area, but don't quote me on that. Probably changed hands 5 times in the last 25 years since we went there, but I have my memories! I have to go to Newcastle in January, I'll definitely be heading to this bakery. Sadly, when I was up that way 2 weeks ago, I couldn't find the bakery at Bulahdelah. It was Sunday morning, so activity in town may have been a bit slow.

We have awesome Banh Mi at my local Viet place, here in Orange. Well worth a look if you ever find yourself down this way. The bun has to be crusty to get a high rating. Those ones you had seemed to be nice and crusty! Given how much you both clearly enjoyed them, it's a good starting point for future ratings, should you decide to have them again, while on the road.

My favourite part of the flavour is the pate and the coriander - I know some people have problems with both. Vietnam was colonized by the French for a while (the war was partly about the power vacuum when they left). They learned a lot about baking. The bun is largely the Vietnamese interpretation of a baguette. A lot of the best suburban bakeries in Australia are run by Vietnamese families.

Inspired by your channel and Shaggy Trails, I had a 10 day road trip of about 3500km and sampled some pies. Coonabarabran was decent but the cheese and bacon was the horror of crust topping and plain filling. Fredo's at Kempsey was horribly disappointing. It was great about 15 years ago, I like the variety of flavours, and still was an amazing crust, just not enough filling. Yatala pies was the stand out decent but thick crust with heaps of structural integrity but amazing filling - steak and kidney and steak and mushroom were on point.

Your thumbnail design is not attractive, you should use good thumbnails to increase your video views, because a good thumbnail increases a video views. Because you have no complete SEO any videos, Channel tags are not seo friendly, Video Tag is not seo friendly.not SEO friendly title and description. If you complete all tasks then you get more views and subscribers with monetization.
