I remember watching this at the time, been trying to find it on RUclips for ages, thanks for uploading it
Does Someone Feel A *Certain Tension Rising In The Air* ?
Hey, this may sound crazy, but do you happen to be the same guy who posted on the website "WhatZatSong" in the mid-2000s under the name "LORRAIN"? There is a large group of people still looking for a song that Lorrain posted back in 2006, so if you happen to be that same guy, please let me know! And if you're not.... disregard this comment
Mitico Gazza!
I’ve been looking for this for years! Thank you for sharing 🙌🏻. Incredible memories!
super times
I could watch this on loop until the end of time.
sometimes poor derbies played in periods in which the two teams were poor are then unforgettable derby results... see this 3-1 from 2005... or for example I also remember a spectacular derby from 1995 or so. .a 1-1 with goal from Giannini and equalizer from Gazza, headed in the 88th minute from a cross by Beppe Signori.. I still remember an anecdote that makes you understand the love for Lazio and the importance of the derby in Rome.. they were missing 10 minutes to go. We were losing 0-1 and I was babbling with my mother in the Tiber about the fact that I wouldn't go to school if we had lost... and we were with my mother studying a ruse so as not to be seen by a Roma friend of mine when I returned. at home after the match: since I lived, and still live in the Prati district, my building, a period building from 1915, had, like all the buildings of that period, an internal courtyard and stairs (staircase b etc.) whose entrance was at the corners of this courtyard... in short, when I had already planned and was already disheartened, magpie leaps (a little leap, not an imperious leap) and beats Zinetti with a header... well, go ahead and see the highlights of that goal... a celebration like never before... the RAI camera trembles... the Curva Nord practically runs onto the pitch... I almost find myself on the athletics track in the Tiber... The best
youch! rough red card on Zola
I'm not a football fan, but I remember that, and will never forget Gazza.👍
Football Italia on the box and sensible soccer. Great days.
When Sky sports took football away from the average Joe, We had Gooooooooaall Lachio.. or whatever it was in Italian..remember those Sundays like yesterday.
Channel 4 showed why British football is a far bigger draw than Italian!
No sound, absolute fail upload.
Cúp 1990 và 1994 hấp dẫn nhất mọi thế kỷ
Gary speed was good . Good bless him
Greatest Eng;ish player of all time.
I WAS THERE!
What a player he was. And a great character of the game. Sadly, one of the last real characters in football
I actually was there!
Love yuo forever gôod day ❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️🙏⭐👑✌️✌️💞☝️☝️☝️☝️1994
The Welsh connection with Lazio was the first . One of the greatest ever Lazio players went to school in Cardiff, I went there also .
Got away with murder when he played for the Establishments darlings
So sad to see the pitiful man he became 😥
Good man Gazza 👏👏👏
What makes it even better is that he stated in an interview that he wanted to take the free kick but sinuri said I'm taking it and the rest is history lol
Great player but sadly never fully settled at Lazio but at least he managed to steer clear of death threats. That’s a reference to his time at Rangers.
I❤Gazza. Gazza and Chris Waddle - my favourite ever Tottenham players.
man Italian football used to be so good, now its shit, what happened?
Imagine how pissed he’d have been that night 🍺 🍺🍺
rocking up in a spanking new Toyota Celica, king of Italy
Awesome footage 💙
If only the footballing world had looked after him properly. A Genius.
@Dolman Eff The footballing world treated him very well what are you talking about?
Why is the footballing world responsible for him choosing to be a piss head?
He could have signed for Man Utd in Alex Fergusons reign…….I think Alex would have been able to help him better than most.
The man's a waste of talent, organs and oxygen
No one forced the booze down his throat. Everything that has happened to him was his own fault.
A golden time..
Gazza had the heart and determination for the biggest occasions. Some players get overwhelmed by the drama of the biggest games and tense moments but Gazza just loved it.
Not always mate. He got totally carried away in the cup final for Spurs v Forest and got seriously injured. He was such an emotional lad he couldn't hide it. He definitely improved in that dept by the time he reached Rangers though.
I remember listening to Paul in an interview after this match, and him saying his equalizer pretty much stopped a riot. We all wanted him back here though, playing in the top flight, but obvs money talks.
Quite simply the most underrated player of all time. For me he was one of the all time greats! Right right up there with pele messi Maradona Ronaldo et al...... pure magic. Won games on his own for whatever club he played for......genius
As Rangers fan I can testify to that, incredible player 👌
Best player I've ever seen live!! I think had he not had the ACL injury he'd be spoken in the same light as those you mentioned.
@@chrishampton2565 if you had seen some of his performances for Rangers he had already reached that level m8
@Craig underrated!! Yeh. When most people mention the greatest footballers of all time they will unlikely name Gazza. I believe he was right up there with the greats. Most people dont think so. I believe that is the definition of underrated. If you yourself rate him as highly as I do then we are on the same page! Happy days 😎
@@MUCKER1314 I watched him live for Newcastle over a whole season. Watched him for spurs live and England and watched him live at ibrox 4 times. Most people when mentioning the greats wont name Gazza. So yeh underrated. For me he was the greatest behind Maradona, Messi and Ronaldo.
The 1990 World Cup Final should have been England v Italy. But that's sport. This was during my youth. Now I'm about to turn 50! oh well. Loved Gazza Shame what happened to him.
I was at the semi final in Italy against the mighty Germany. It’s was in one day the best and saddest football match I’ve been. England should have won but what a holiday we had back in 1990. Aged 24with my mate we had the best time ever. Gazza was brilliant for us. An absolute legend for football
Why didn't Gazza take a penalty and why wasn't Shilton not swapped for Dave Beasant for the shootouts???
@@maratonlegendelenemirei3352 I've often pondered the Gascoigne Q. I can only assume Sir Bobby thought his mind was elsewhere following the booking. Before the Qatar World Cup I watched One Night in Turin. There's a bit at the end where the narrator says that was Gazza's only World Cup, which is a sad way to bow out of WC Football.
3 weeks later he got badly injured: during a training session that also consisted in a friendly training match against Lazio's Primavera (Juvenile team <21 year old) he drunkenly launched himself in a killer tackle against an opposing kid, then 16yo Alessandro Nesta, fell like a potato sack and fractured his own leg (true check it out on google).
He had everything as a footballer
To this day I think Brazil deserved to win against Italia, as gli azzuri seemed a little gased out in the finals. Would love to see a rematch as Italy deserves to equalize total world cup titles. Forza Italia.....just frickin qualify first geez!!!
Hopefully Roberto Baggio will win the World Cup and/or the Euro as a manager one day.
Italian person: I have been studying English now for 5 years. I can hold a conversation in English with anyone around the world. Gazza: 0:01 Italian person: I admit defeat.
Roberto cries because he had to miss, he was made an offer he couldn’t refuse.
Or he just... you know.... missed.
Stop lying
Godo ora come allora.....brividi
Wore his he
Ancora mi emoziona rivederlo; gran gol in un derby
