The golf swing is sooo confusing...Is the swing a baseball overhand pitch or a softball underhand pitch? In Lee's swing it looks like he's throwing the club over his right shoulder and exiting left and has his chest facing the target at impact. Also his clubhead really pounds into the ground. Which is which? In Michael Brodericks YT video "More Cmotion my defining observation" you can really see Lee throwing down the club like he's chopping wood and exiting far to the left (which Lee says on the comments that he isn't). That's the thing about 2D videos is that looks and feel and perception is totally different to every individual who watches. Please help. Thanks!

@@fairwaydavid Are you doing the same movement in your swing? Is he releasing the club head at impact or is he releasing past impact? I've gotten a lot slower in ball and swing speed within the last two years of golf. I feel like I'm swinging the same but lost a lot of distance. The thing is when I swing with no ball on the ground I can have speed but soon as the ball is there I slow down immensely. Whoever said golf is easy is a liar...Thanks for the response, I appreciate it!

Swinging a broom is outstanding practice. Better than a weighted club. You cant really flip or lever a broom. Gets your whole body involved. Feel that turn. The real lever, per se, in a golf swing is your feet torque against the ground. Practice swinging a broom about the type he has here, and you will be surprised.

The value here is the concept that the hands need to always stay on the right side of the spine. I saw elsewhere that the reason is that since the right hand is lower on the grip than the left, it’s essentially shorter and can’t reach across, so the release has to take place in front of the right hand side of the torso.

This makes so much sense why I couldn't hit the ball straight with distance because my center was stuck at where my right shoulder/armpit was at address and why I could not get extension with my right arm at post impact. I could see the difference when I swung the tennis racket like how you were showing on this video in my room and I saw how different the two moves were. Such a small move/adjustment but makes a BIG difference. Thanks again, you are the Guru of the golf swing!

THIS! This might be the missing piece for me DS. I was always told that the club should bisect the right arm on the way down. But i went and hit some balls today just thinking about the club in line with the left arm and it flat out worked! When it didn't work it was because I was interfering by dipping or reaching for the ball...my ugly old habit. But hands out towards the ball, club in line with left arm while keeping that window between the arms just seems to send it with ease. Just need to maintain my height and not panic. thanks DS...this could be the game changer 🙏
