Man, I came here because I thought it was super rare to experience this. It happened a few months back on my second playthrough of DS3 and I was so freaking confused and in shock because after having watched a lot of youtubers play this, and then playing it myself, and never had that happen, it was so weird. I never even took a moment to realize how sad it was because the fight went from being normal, to very hard in just a few seconds because of this.

These little touches are what ascends dooks beyond ordinary games. I find it funny that despite being hard to access accidentally, Stray Demon's second form seems to actually be harder than the first, or at least challenging due to being a new moveset.

The state of Demons in DS3 is depressing. A once great race, now reduced to only a few remaining individuals. The exhaustion the Demon King shows after you wittle him down is a testament to just how old and frail this race has become.

So sad, he died in literal agony

I read that you can also break his torso and then get a visceral kill, but I have never seen that before

Summary: Shots 1-5: Clearly missed. Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control). Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses. Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Hiko was already dead.
