I wish the LED lights would run both the high and low when you have it set on high. It would give it a much bigger field. I put an LED in my cb500x and I think it might be brighter but the beam pattern sucks.

So I've been researching this bike, the Rally version & it can be modded in a manner that'll get you 85mph or more. My needs of this bike are about 80% Road x 20% dirt stuff meaning I need to be able to move at the speeds of other vehicles. Riding slower than the speed limit makes the ride much more dangerous in my humble opinion. So I appreciate your take on the bike ! peace

For a dual sport you've got to be able to ride on your local roads at the posted speed limits.... lol, riding much slower endangers you along w/ everyone else so I see this MOD as an important one. I have no clue about the differences between Stage 1 as it compares to 2, 3, 4.... and Up -n- Up ? Anyhoo, more fuel & more air are a requirement to more power but the ECU feeds the bike w/ the numbers it needs to run properly. Great video, especially your honesty about not wanting to tear it all apart.... I wouldn't either but when I do get mine, I'll be deciding whether to do it too ?! I might have to hire help. peace man

Try the latest Honda nx 500.it's the CB500x but better. And looks better. You'll see 120 on that. And keep the 300. I've the 300 and Africa twin. Perfect duo

How was it with original exhaust?

I removed the centre restriction the honey come. Do you have the full system? I do. Mine goes up to 85 Did you do the throttle reset? Switch ignition on, don't start engine, rotate throttle grip 3 times from fully closed to fully open. Switch ignition off and on, start n ride. I love the bike also.

I noticed the same performance change with Arrow exhaust and Stage 1 550. lost high rpm top speed but have way more bottom end and mid range.

Hey brother. My tip is to clean it, then ride on pavement for a few minutes to get warm, let dry overnight. You should be golden 👍🏻. Personally I do it every time I wash my bike. Think key is getting it hot and letting it sit. Hope it works for you
