It feels that they used to put more thought into those vintage Filofax models than they do nowadays. Those pockets at the front look so cool! And I also miss lots of compact and slim models. It's a shame they almost got rid of the slim line... Anyway, great video. Thank you for sharing!

Great setup. Smaller rings all the way for me. I’m using a Filofax Holborn in compact size (15mm rings), it holds loads.

If you want to give your 3KL an refresh, I would recommend Tokonole. I used it before on old Planners with broken edges and it worked really well. Just a little rub with a cotton cloth and Tokonole. Believe me. 😉

You did it! Sis, I was riveted from “let us embark.” This was like watching an A24 production for me 😊 Kudos for slimming it down and still making this your own. I have a current compact Filo and I love it for travel. I’m not a fan of bulky rings, but I NEEDS my cute stuff. These compact ones are great for helping me “reset” my life, I suppose.

I love that vintage filo - it’s so pretty. And while I love the *idea* of a space shuttle/mothership planner kinda deal I was hyperventilating just watching you pull your book apart. You could cut the A5 TN cover to the size, put in there 15 mm rings, and there will be your DIY plotter for 10 times cheaper

This is the right solution. I have the 15 mm rings from the filofax saffiano, and I like them. You might want to try them, and if you think that 4 mm difference in rings doesn't matter, they do!

I hope you make it work in your cool vintage cover. I think the key is the placement of the holes aka how big of a margin you have between the holes and the paper edge. Either you need to punch closer to the edge of the paper or after punching trim of a bit. Plotter inserts have small holes and only 3mm margin compared to Filofax whose inserts have bigger/normal sized holes and the margin is 4-5mm. I hacked my 6-hole punch to have smaller margins because I don’t have time to cut, punch and cut again 😅 But with smaller rings there is not so much space in the middle so if you want a smooth experience you need to adjust your inserts.

I'm 100% biased towards slim planners. I make my own A6 discbound planner using Levenger .25" inch/6mm and occasionally .5" inch/13mm discs. The only downside is that discs that small are plastic and not metal like I prefer.

I listened to Remarkably Bright Creature’s and enjoyed it. It could be that the narrator made it more interesting. It does get better.

I could never use compact rings as an edc, but if I could I would choose a Filofax over Plotter because of the pockets and style options. Plus the plotter system seems so expensive. I have a gold compact saffiano that I use to record purchases and financial stuff- it works perfectly for that. It’s hard to beat the Weeks😂. Next year I plan to use personal rings (so I don’t feel like I have to archive anything), but I feel a little nervous to replace my Weeks.

I made it through a few more seasons while it was still airing before giving up. and I still don't understand the hype. Parks and Rec is definitely the better show.

Such a beautiful planner! I have a mini Malden in Duck Egg, but am loving that dark grey! As for the pen, a Fisher Space Pen will fit in it. You might consider raw brass, which will develop a lovely patina over time. It’s still a pretty thick line with the stock insert, though it will accept other inserts with finer tips.

Ah I love this! I just did some dashboards in this size for a friend of mine who just bought this planner and at first I was shocked because they're so small but good lord they're SO cute!! I honestly thought pocket was my favourite size to make and cut dashboards for but I was wrong, it's this size! 😂 Yours is adorable! 😍

Also, if you're on the hunt for a gold/brass mini pen - Travelers Company does make one (rollerball or fountain) that (when closed & living in the pen loop) is about the same compact size as the Filofax one you have! Yesterday I was literally thinking “i hope we hear from planner coven soon!” ❤❤

I dust the cieling fan with a swiffer duster or a step ladder and a rag depending upon what month it is. Swiffer happens in the evening months while an actual rag and getting the step ladder out is the odd months. I use the c fan nearly every day of the year. Near the equinox I switch them up for directions. I got the instructions from the web, and then used some masking tape to label the way they should be placed for the various seasons.

"I wanted something more subtle, so I went with Skeletor and He-Man voguing" "Whoever thought of this, STOP IT" The Office is the worst in the first season; it only gets better in season 2 in my opinion and it's not the best IMO I cackled, love your planner!
