I took these pictures on my old camera about 10 years ago. I was exploring the national forest north of Mount Rainier, Washington. This wildlife sanctuary is located west of Portland on highway 202. The elk are grazing in an open field, there is a nearby stream. It was sprinkling rain today and a bit cold.

A quick trip out to Broken Beach on Nusa Penida Island. This is easily accessible to all. the trails are in good condition and not far from the road. The ocean currents are strong here and swimming is not recommended. A beautiful spot to visit.

On vacation in Bali, this is more than a day trip. We rented a scooter at the port and stayed at Semabu Hills hotel. This was about an hour drive through the countryside and another hour hike down to the beach. The beach is pristine and the water so inviting. I highly recommend this spot and will visit again. Take plenty of water with you and be sure to pack out your trash.

Thanks for posting this , i was privileged to live here back in 2007 8 ish and was so thankful to , its a rv resort and we had all access to the gorge at anytime , i would walk down there early in the morning blaze some herb and take glorious swims , so amazing so healing , what a true treasure!

Yeah, I don't do this at home because I have a can opener. But I do it all the time at the beach or on the trails. Been a while since I've had a P-38.

This is from a few years ago. My channel is fairly new and I am using some older footage mostly for family members and friends who can't go places like this to live vicariously through me.
Mainly using my channel to learn photography/film technique and editing prior to my retirement. Then the real documentary starts.

I haven't actually gold panned this spot but there is evidence of panning at multiple places on this river. This is along highway 18 on the other side of Tiger Mountain. There is parking on the south side of the bridge. Another video I made on Quartzville creek in Oregon is a popular spot for gold panning, check it out if you are interested. Thanks for watching.
