I did mine around 2 to 3 weeks just to see if I have any problems but so far it was quick and easy. Lifesaver ang alipay. China is cashless talaga

Be sure you have your VPN subscription while here in the Philippines para when you arrive in China you can just turn it on

@@nicolesingh889 you're welcome. Glad it helped you. I stayed there for a week but I wasn't able to edit the rest of the vlogs because of work. I recommend getting letsvpn before flying to China. Each subscription lets you have 2 devices. So each device should have the letsvpn app and you can toggle it on. I choose Philippines for the server ang Google apps worked fine. Except for TikTok.

@@geahg.0214 ahmmm I actually have no idea since I went there as a tourist. In my opinion - given the strict IOs we have, I recommend going there as a tourist. Meaning, you book your own flights, own hotel, own activities. So when you apply for your visa - you can apply under the tourist visa category. For the ITR - I mentioned it in my cover letter that I don't have. But I don't suggest putting the BF inviting you in Shanghai to visit because he might be asked for documents... unless ok lang sa iya. Better consult an agency for that. Pero if iwas hassle - Tourist visa for me

@@geahg.0214 hmmm for the application - if mag tourist visa kay need man ang Hotel accommodation booking. Though pwede mn ka mag book tapos cancel mo Lang after sa application mo, the bigger problem is the IO here. Kay more often than not - especially if solo female traveler, mag ask gyud na ug hotel booking. Nya if e push mo nga sa apartment ng bf ka mag stay, you might be asked for invitation letter or other documents which I have no idea. At the end of the day - choose what you think works best for you given our strict immigration officers

The Chinese visa form needs to be completed from this website: cova.mfa.gov.cn. You need to complete and fill out the online form and then after completing everything - it should route you to the part where you can download the form so you can print it. The printed version should have all your info already (based from all the info you inputted online), so you just need to print it to submit to the embassy.

@@elihere they have a locker for each person where I put all my important belongings like ipad, mac, camera, wallet etc. However - for the bigger luggages - I just placed it right outside my bunk bed since it has a padlock anyway. My clothes are inside my bunk bed arranged in cubes to organize my stuff. You get what you paid for in hostels but this one's pretty decent.

If you setup your Alipay in the Philippines before your China trip, you can connect your card to your alipay account and use it to pay for everything in China. No need to withdraw money. It didn't send me otp to my phone number so all is good. But this should all be done before the arrival to China...
