A friend of mine from Melbourne sent me (waaaay up in Winnipeg Canada) one of your cds many moons ago. My daughter listened to it EVERY night at bedtime for more than SIX years! I'm not kidding when I say "every night" either, that cd came with us everywhere!! I've never tired of your beautiful passion, perfect pitch, amazing musical patience & timing (so crucial in jazz) and well-woven lyrics. You're in a class above the rest, Mr. Jones!

Vince Jones is a cultural asset - and yes, he does solo, on trumpet and by voice - but you've got to see him live! Try Bennetts Lane Jazz Club - like Saturday 23rd Feb 2013! He even sings as he introduces each tune - music just oozes from him!

Where does he solo?...is he a jazz singer or a club singer?

Great Video of Vince. Have always enjoyed him live! Have seen him in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane over the years. Pity he doesn't tour more, but that probably keeps his spirit alive and the special live performances always special. His music has been a great part of my life for the past twenty years. Thanks for such a great video posting.
