Yeah! Just didn't see it in the moment, I was pretty fixated on the scaling engine I had, and forgot Gelada was a unit.

Yup 🤣 I realized that watching it back in editing. Still happy I only really made 2 obvious mistakes with Bloodhound for my first time using it - this, and deleting a Milk by stocking a pet in a full shop. All the trigger limits and ordering for rabbit, sauropod, bloodhound, and cow overwriting the food shop definitely made it tricky. I think there was also a point I could have pulled in and fed a Gelada that was in shop with Milk to get more stat efficiency. Game's hard 🤣

Bit of context - I do think quite a bit more than it appears in the videos, I try to trim out dead time where I'm silent and thinking, to keep up the pace of the video I'm also not terribly concerned with playing optimally. My primary goals are to be entertaining and have fun. If a particular build requires optimal play to succeed, or if a build needs to be played carefully (like this one), I'll do it. But this isn't ranked, there's no real need to try to over analyze everything 😛 I don't mind the backseatiness, but to be clear, I have played and watched this game a lot 🤣 I'm not new, and the primary purpose here is entertainment

It is! I've been having a lot of fun experimenting with creating custom art for the thumbnails lately, and I'm glad the intro animations came out nice. I noticed a crazy fall off early in the videos, and I know that this game can be overwhelming to newer viewers (I was introducing my friends to it this weekend 🤣) so I'm hoping the animations make the video more accessible

I mention this in the video haha. It was more so to just get a separate pet on the board. I could have ran two Sunfish, but it wouldn't have mattered on an even turn - they're both just bodies of stats at that point, and the Lvl 2 Ostrich was triggering before the Lvl 1, so it worked out OK Part of the thinking was to stat my scaler before stacking, but it doesn't work like Dragon, so alas, that doesn't really work for Ostrich 😂

I'm fairly confident this isn't true, and the pet distribution is always equal. This means Turn 9 and Turn 10, when you shop is at it's largest but Tier 6 isn't unlocked, should be the optimal time for rerolling. The only "tech" after that point is freezing at least two Tier 6s with a level-up saved to force a trigger more reliably. Otherwise, it's just rolling and getting lucky 🫡

True! Only thing I was looking for was a level-up, but the two rerolls could have given me a Bluebird. Gold efficiency with roll builds is hard, I've nitpicked RUclipsrs for the same thing before 😛

Glad you liked it! I'm happy I struck a happy balance between continuity and snappiness with the jumpcuts. I was definitely mentally losing it by the end of the run haha I had NO idea about the lopsided audio - apparently, my video editor decided to treat a mono track (no left/right audio difference) as ONLY left audio... and I didn't notice because I was editing with my headphones only on my left ear 😐 Thanks for pointing that out, because I was going to repeat the same mistake 😭

Awh no! I had that Pokemon jazz going the entire time I was editing, it felt fitting by the end 🤣 I was originally going to end it with Rossini's William Tell Overture but... I'd need to find fitting music for the rest of it haha
