i seriously don’t understand why buildings like these aren’t repurposed, don’t get me wrong without abandoned buildings there wouldn’t be much exciting urban exploring to do, but it just seems like that so many towns have nothing to do in them these days but have tons of abandoned buildings like this, guess someone’s too busy pocketing money behind our backs to actually put it to good use by funding rebuilds

Would you be able to share the location? Obviously not publically, dont want the masses to find and destroy it. But I want to do similar videos and locations like this are perfect. Ive only been to cairndhu house but it's a well known spot.

An interesting find, molested by nothing but time, people haven't even been in to take the period pieces like they did to a house belonging to an old relative of my father's. There's a story to the house, I noticed the Christmas trees in the hallway and living room, it makes you wonder when the house was abandoned. And so many photos, were they close family? Why was the house not left to anyone? Was nothing taken, not even a momento? The Christmas photos seem to be of a different year (noticed a different model of tv in the background) was that important to the owner? Was it the only time they'd see family? I'm working from home and this week I'm in my parents' place, I'm looking at the nice touches my mother made to the place and the junk Dad still hasn't gotten rid of, makes me wonder what people would make of it if was allowed to go to ruin.

You're doing great lad, keep up the channel and be careful exploring those old derelicts, sometimes old houses like this are abandoned due to compromised structural integrity so stay frosty. Just some constructive critique / advice on making the videos better, is try and find out some factual trivia about the place and splice it in along with your own observations as you go about. I think you'll really find your strength the more you do more of it, very enjoyable to watch. Love this sort of shit and exploring places myself.
