Hello Winwing, can I know if you are releasing the Boeing MCP, EFIS FMC/FMS and Airbus MCDU planned to release this year as shown in the FSExpo or is it released next year?
@@REALSIMPILOT777 I’m afraid I’m not affiliated with Winwing in any way. This is just a video I shared from the flight sim expo. You might have more luck on their RUclips page: @WINWING-SIMULATOR
Wish winwing would create GA devices. Everybody focuses on jets and military. Few focus on general aircraft and props.
Tried setting mine up but did t work correctly any chance you can help out here?
Have the CLS60 now! Great Stuff! Canceled the MOZA Stick Base, cause of the FliteSim base coming in Q4 also...and the rudders! Sturdy Stuff, good Support! And their into flying
I just purchased one of the yokes. I am looking forward to the rudder pedals. I may even get my multi-engine rating since flying a multi on one engine is all about the rudder pedals.
daaang it, winwing going full force with flight sim stuff, i guess i'll have to move on from vkb :(
Wow thank you, just found that. Thank you for mentioning my campaign project.
Thanks for the shout out I just saw this!
Finally after decades some affordable stuff!! I'm gonna buy the 737 mcdu asap. rest will follow :)
This is like listening to filler from stuff that is already out, maybe scale it back to once a month so as to not lose interest.
Something I have thought about. Thanks for the feedback. Out of curiosity, did you feel that about every portion of the show or just certain segments?
@@stewmanji The delay on the DCS update was something new to me.
This demo they showed could have been cobbled together in a weekend using unreal engine 5. I hate to be a dick but if this is all they've achieved since they started work they'd of been better off waiting to show it next year.
Given that they were the only combat-oriented flight sim developer to show up and discuss their game, I'm willing to give them a ton of latitude. As someone hoping to see that side of the expo continue to expand, I'm thankful that Combat Pilot put themselves out there and engaged with the community. I definitely understand your point about the demo but for me it's almost irrelevant this early in the development process...but the relationship/community building is incredibly welcome in this niche market.
too green
Much bigger issue is that YAW and PITCH movements do not have separate control, because the two different kinds of view are treated as one. So if you increase pitch sensitivity you HAVE to accept greater YAW sensitivity. This is completely nuts and is a fundamental flaw with Tobi 5. Unless the two have separated individual controls then Tobi is never going to be a properly implemented head/eye tracker.
Great show! Thanks so much for the mention 🤘
You're more than welcome! Thank you for the kind words and for your great content!
@@stewmanji Anything you need in the future just give me a shout. Any vox pops or anything like that, me or one of the discord boys and girls will happily give you our time.
Did Jabbers say anything about how the MOZA base is mountable for our various sim rigs??
Jabbers posted a quick video on Twitter which shows the base mounted on a Foxx or Monstertech mount: x.com/imjabbers/status/1807230306153599086 That said, @BluGames has a nice "first look" video that shows the full mounting pattern of the base which looks to have a ton of compatibility for various sim-rigs (5:03 mark): ruclips.net/video/SsZKy_dkMl4/видео.htmlsi=-mbr4YvU9jR0sRdj&t=303
Thanks for the mention! We appreciate the support and the kind words. 😊
Happy to spread the word! Thank you for developing such a great addition to DCS for the community!
With all due respect🫡, it's frustrating to see the new feature being showcased at the flight sim expo and released for Star Citizen, an unfinished product, instead of prioritizing Microsoft Flight Simulator. This decision seems misplaced given the current state of the products involved.🤪
Thanks for the mention, and the enthusiasm! Yes I grew up on helicopter games, including the Strike series. I'm glad the nostalgia is hitting for other people too, we're having a ton of fun making it.
You're more than welcome! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Best wishes to you and the team with your development process. I'll be sure to keep talking about the game here and I can't wait to play it one day!
Nice to see the BSD reference! It's a cool server and an alternative to the Rotorheads (but without the need for pay some commodities: fly a FW and save the takeoff spots). Then the "free plugin". :D Is good to have the option the trade time for money, and I prefer to save some money.
Yeah, the "free plugin" was a great find by that other community member...options are always nice! And I haven't had the chance to fly the BSD serer yet but I'm really looking forward to it. I need to get back to flying helos in DCS more often and with the OH-58 and CH-47 releasing, the time is right. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I hope you continue to enjoy the show!
Wonder if they will make a Boeing yoke
Great question. I would think they might end up building a full cockpit for both the Boeing and Airbus lines, ala what they've done with the F-18 so I wouldn't be surprised. It's really impressive how much hardware they're putting out this year.
Thank you @stewmanji for clipping this video!! I have been sharing it :)
You're more than welcome Jon! I really enjoyed the presentation and was thrilled you made it to the Expo. I already convinced my better half to travel up to Providence with me next year. Can't wait!
Good Humor loved it.
Stew, thank you for the playlist...did you mean to add Dan Gryder's video?
I did not! Thank you very much for letting me know. That’s now fixed.
Never buy winwing!!! Ever product that I have has broken. Two throttles, flight stick, F18 and F15 grips. Garbage!!! Can't wait to give Moza my money!
i'm using my hotas setup for almost 2 years now and the only thing that happened was a broken switch for which they quickly sent me a replacement
sooooo NOT working for Flight Simulator 2020 and this is a range of 15 millions peoples for , that camera boost will not work so yeah Good move ! so I will Stick with my TrackIr 5
It is curious that MSFS 2020 wasn't mentioned in the development plans for "Camera Boost." Per an article on fselite.net the developer said they are looking forward to announcing more titles that the feature will be compatible with "soon." You would have to think MSFS 2020 is one of those, but we'll have to wait and see.
Stew...awesome stuff! Thanks for posting these!
You're more than welcome! I'm glad people have found the clips useful. It was a great show this year and here's hoping the military side of the show continues to grow. I enjoy your channel's content, btw. Keep up the great work!
Omg, Cleared Hot brought back memories of Desert Strike, a game that I loved at the time, but haven't thought about in years! I remember it being both awesome and incredibly frustrating in equal measure. Also great to see FFB options coming back on the market. Besides VR my FFB base (VPForce Rhino) is the single most immersion boosting peripheral I have (had to wait nearly a year for it though!)
Right?!? The nostalgia was real right away. So glad someone else appreciates that series (and it's incredible levels of frustration, hahaha). Totally agree about FFB...I too can't imagine not having my Rhino. What an absolute game changer it has been.
NICE, how to activate this in sc ?
Per their website, it looks like you can enable it in the "Options Meu: COMMS, FOIP & Head Tracking" of Star Citizen. help.tobii.com/hc/en-us/articles/24508023042705-Camera-Boost-in-Star-Citizen
Is it as accurate as an IR tracker?😊
just have a look at the bubble on the screen taht buuble indicate <what are looking you eyes. It is fantastic
I've heard really positive things. Some folks seem to have a love/hate with the eye tracking functionality but I believe head tracking is pretty darn solid (especially with no requirement for any additional hardware on your head). Here's a very recent review from helisimmer.com: www.helisimmer.com/reviews/tobii-eye-tracker-5
I have them all, I love my tobii
I have it and it's really good. Give it a try!
Honestly its garbage compared to IR tracker. Complete night and day difference.
Dude. Get a Quest3 and a connection cable. My wife got me one for Christmas. I wasn't expecting much and WOW WAS I SUPRISED. I'm here to tell you, you will NEVER be able to go back to flying on a monitior. I was so SO ready to be underwhelmed........and I was comepletly BLOWN AWAY. I couldn't recommend it more
Really appreciate that feedback! I’ve been on the fence for a long time so this might be the “push” I needed. Thanks for listening and for commenting!
@@stewmanji it took a minute to get set up (easy but not what I’d call exactly intuitive, if you follow me). You WILL need to download OpenXR also(it’s free). But the first time I cranked it up and got in my F/A 18 pit, the first thing I did is I REACHED for a switch. Not moused. REACHED WITH MY HAND. Then after the DOH! Moment….well…..dude….you gotta get you one of those
I echo the Q3 recommendation. I had a Q2 for a couple years and almost hung it up. I just coukdnt get visuals I deemed worth the hassle until I got set up with a discord group dedicated to the Q2 and DCS. Gamechanger. I upgraded my laptop last fall making even the Q2 look so good I decided to step up th the Q3. I run everything maxed out and love it.
@@GaltAWG I've got the Q3 in my wish list now! Might have to take the plunge if we see a sale this summer or possibly this holiday season. Thanks for your thoughts and for listening to the show!
Just want a ffb stick base
Moza AB9 entered the chat :) Seeing FFB pedals on the horizon now as well has me stoked. I've been wanting some since DCS Black Shark was released, because trimming without FFB is just a major pain in the plot. I had the MS Sidewinder FFB2 which I'm still using (which is why I want an affordable and available FFB base as well, I mean VPForce Rhino and Brunner CLS-E do exist...), but you still got to deal with the janky non-FFB trim solution or just disable trimming on pedal axis (used to run an Autohotkey from PeterP for ages until ED finally added an option for that). Getting an option for FFB pedals feels like heaven for any helo simmer...
I've had a cls60 on order for 6 weeks. Hope it comes soon. 😢
WinWing делает нужные и качественные вещи для авиасимуляторов!Хотелось бы чтобы компания вернула в производство панели PTO 1 и PCR.
Agreed, they make good products. Did you not care for the design of their new PTO 2 panel? I thought it did a nice job of merging the original panels into one, but I could understand preferring the original panels instead.
Мне PTO2 не очень понравилось и тем более что у меня есть PTO1 и мне нужна панель PCR.
Hopefully MSCFS (Pacific Theater) 2.1 will feature a Hanger Bay lol. Cheers!!
That was hilarious! What a great presentation. I can't afford an iphone 15, so... :D
Shame it was only 10 minutes. How did the people there react to scramble?
Great question. I was watching online via their digital pass so I can only speculate, but most of the "initial impressions" videos on RUclips from folks trying the game have been very positive. I've really enjoyed the demo on Steam so I think this is a game definitely heading in the right direction!
I was talking at a pretty fast pace, so it was hard for me to gauge personally the response, but I was told that people were paying pretty close attention and I did see a lot of folks take photos of the final slide with our links :) On the floor throughout the weekend, people were very positive in conversation. Go try our demo!
Nobody clapped at the force feedback but that is truly the most immersive piece of equipment that he announced.
We’re gonna chalk it up to pure shock and amazement, hahaha. Definitely a more civilian flight sim oriented crowd though so I suppose it makes a bit of sense, but we needed the military flight sim fans in the room to make some noise!
i thought for sure they were gonna announce the new super taurus throttle
Me too. Some folks on-site said they confirmed it was still in development, but sadly nothing official to share.
Thank God, finally the Force Feedback market is coming to life again! Can't wait to finally feel the force again!!
It's really turning into the golden age for flight sim hardware in a lot of ways. Force Feedback is going to be a game changer for so many.
I received the A320 FCU a few days ago and am absolutely blown away by its quality and price. I will probably buy all of those things shown here...
Great to hear! I've got my eyes on one of their CDUs so I can use it with DCS. Pretty amazing prices for what they're offering.
It's important to get some hydratión before any public speech ...
why did the audience just sit there like stunned mullets when he announced the FFB base? Winwing & Moza bringing these to market is massive news for the flight sim community. 🤦♂ We have waited for basically 2 decades at this point for new FFB especially one with decent torque. I've got a vpforce Rhino so I'm in no rush to get a base but I'm hoping they start making yokes, rudder pedals & even a collective base too. Tbh even a ffb throttle would be nice. What I found since owning ffb is that the effects are cool & are good for immersion etc. but the best thing is the customization of the base. You can completely change the feel of the stick just by changing the profile, make it feel heavy or light, give it more or less dampening without adding any sticktion at all. Another awesome thing with ffb is trim, the stick will actually move with the trim (depends on the aircraft) & the absolute biggest benefactor of ffb in flight sims imho is helicopters. Real force trim in a heli is a total game changer. I'm stoked ww & moza have stepped up to the plate & are bringing FFB back to the main market. It will be interesting to see what FFB Thrustmaster brings out to match these........ in like 15yrs time🤣 TM is so slow to update or innovate it's sad to see. We just need Winwing to change the F-15E grip a tiny bit & we'll have an A-10 grip.
I'm right there with you...I absolutely love my Rhino. As a former helo bubba, the force trim was the biggest thing I wanted and I haven't been disappointed. Seeing other vendors enter the space is incredibly cool and I hope they all push each other to develop even better products and innovate further. And totally agree about Thrustmaster...here we are and everyone's moving to Force Feedback and they only just realized they could make a customizable base. Maybe by 2030 they'll get in on this action. 🤣 In regards to the audience not reacting, my guess is that 95% of the crowd really didn't know what they were seeing as they fly with yokes or GA-specific gear. I've been shocked at how little crossover there seems to be between the two sides of the flight sim market (civilian vs military). Purely anecdotal, but even a lot of the major content creators who fly MSFS only dabble or never even try the likes of IL-2, DCS, BMS, etc. So, not sure if that explains all the silence, but it might go a long way. Thanks for your comment!
Is there someone who believes Singapore is part of China?
I’m in!
Me too! We've been waiting WAYYYY too long for WWII pacific theater carrier ops.
If 6dof worked in war thunder I may use my tobii more but atm it goes unused and i play in vr instead; camera boost is cool and i have used it but is only useful if you have 6d0f also
Good to know! I’ve always been tempted to try Tobii but my TrackIR setup is still holding up for now. Still 2D for me at the moment but VR is getting more and more tempting. Thanks for your comment!
But when will the F18 Grip be ready to order? Have i missed this?
Nope, you haven’t missed anything. All the manufacturers were light on details regarding release dates. The 737/Airbus stuff all mentioned 2025 but no date for the F-18 grip or Taurus force feedback base. Guess we’ll just have to stay tuned for more updates which hopefully won’t be too long of a wait.
Dude announces 737 control panels, applause and excitement. Dude announces a freaking force feedback Taurus, no response. We need to get some more military flight sim enthusiasts at that expo!
Hahaha, truth! Next year I’ll do my part!
Yeah I noticed that too haha, very jarring
Force feedback anything 👍
There are decades of younger flight sim enthusiasts that have no idea what FFB can do because a sidewinder joystick has never been something they have experienced. Wish they would have spoken about the Super Taurus II throttle with auto throttle.
@@jakesixx2726 Couldn’t agree more…on both counts. Hopefully we’ll hear more from Winwing soon!
I have a lot of Winwing products, and I think they are very good. The FFB announcement is awesome, but for me to consider buying it, they need to have Thrustmaster/Virpil adapters. Would buy day 1 if I can use those Sticks on their base.
Yeah, that's a great suggestion. From a consumer standpoint, they would all the major vendors would would unify around one, standardized connection format. That's where Moza's base could be intriguing. They specifically mentioned aiming for compatibility with multiple base types so we'll see what they can do. The initial video footage of it from another content creator showed it working with the Thrustmaster F-18 grip so that's promising.
2 force feedback bases announced at the same expo. Finally the scene is really heating up and hopefully over priced spring and cam gimbals will be a thing of the past, just as belt drive wheels are all but gone from sim racing. So far it seems Moza might have the advantage with their more open system but I'm sure we will all be looking forward to seeing them in action.
What happened? Did the patent expire?
@@maksciesielski3464 moza flight gear
@@GW2Vids1yes. Finally
Has nothing to do with a patent! You know how many products have patents and still have companies that make the same shit to complete! It’s called companies have been lazy and over charging for none ffb stick because people were buying them lol. And if it had to do with a patent and it just expired companies wouldn’t already have ffb stick basically ready
There were actually 3, if you can believe it. Winwing, Moza, and Flitesim.com. You wonder how long it will be before VKB and Virpil join the race. Exciting times.
Great announcements ! I'm looking forward to buying the new Cyber Taurus !
I can't wait to find out what the price is...should be a huge year for Winwing!
If they can fix their distribution model and hit retailers with in-stock product, they can be really competitive against Thrustmaster, Logitech and the boutique sim controls manufacturers.
That almost certainly would increase the cost. Thrustmaster and Logitech are not even making most of the products they are releasing. I see no issues with the distribution model, but from what I hear it varies depending on where one lives.
@@corryGT Yeah, if you're lucky enough to live where they have a distribution center (EU, Canada, Australia, US, UK) then I think their model is working pretty well. We'll see how well they do shipping this many products to all those centers. Exciting times.
