Love the story so far but can we stop with the gender correction please? Really not trying to be a bitch so lemme explain what I mean (sorry if it's kinda long). I get that some of the boys were girls in the past but they all know them as boys cuz they're trans so referring to them as the gender they are in the present that they (their friends/teammates) have always known them as isn't really incorrect as far as I've been told by my trans friends and fam. They've always told me it really bothers them to be misgendered, refered to by their past/dead gender or name. I mean if it's accidental they don't mind as much but if it's intentional they feel very disrespected and like all the struggle they went thru getting to where they're comfortable with themselves is being invalidated and they're not being recognized as the person they fought so hard to become. So while he may be trying to correct them respecting the gender they are in the vids, tho ik it's completely the opposite of what he's intending to do cuz it's clear he's intending to be nice, but it's actually kind of disregarding who they've become and their feelings that brought them to the decision to make that transition. Lemme put it this way, you're hangin' with your friend who is trans (you were with them thru all the struggles with accepting themself and with getting others to accept them) and you're looking at old family pics. Are you gonna point at pics of them and say what a cute girl they were or would you just say they were a cute kid cuz you know they're a boy now and that's how you refer to them? Please don't take this as any kind of rudeness or dis cuz it's not intended that way. I'm just sharing this from my own experience with trans friends and family. Also I did see your response to the other comment about this and went to read the description on ep 6. I get what you're saying and if you really want a story where you refer to Shoyo as a girl that is your right as the author. With that said tho why not just make him a girl and not trans? The other comment came off as offensive since it eluded to it being homophonic so I understand your response which is why I tried to explain my comment with all the reasons I listed from my own experience in a way that I hope gives more understanding of why this can be offensive to trans people and those in the community.
