I went to an old timers game in 1982 that Ted played in...I was 13 years old...and don't recall what he did at the plate...but I DO remember him making a nice running catch in left field. I also believe Bob Montgomery hit a HR into the left field screen as well.

I have been a Boston Celtic fan since the days of Bob Cousy and Bill Russell ..Bill Russell I have seen play when he attended Univ.San Francisco. UCLA basketball team a power team in the college ranks. When San Franciso came playing the Southern college teams.UCLA, Never seen Larry Bird play in person when he played college games. Highlights on TV yes,, I even hoped the Celtics would draft him. Wish come true.

I like the game where he ask the opposing coach, “haven’t you got anybody on the bench better than what’s on the floor?” The coach looked at the bench and turned back to Byrd and said “No”.

My first time I saw NBA player were the year that the Players were names to the first Dream Team for the Olympics. I set in the stands in the Blazers House in Portland Oregon they were there to play a college team. We all l remember was l could not believe what l was watching, were they for real or was that college team that bad? Well I left the game still not knowing because as l said it was my first Time seeing NBA player live. Well after we left and meet others for dinner l soon learned that they were for real and l could not wait to see the American Olympic Team play! Even watching on TV l realized l had seen the very Best of the USA's Best and defentally the best in all the World. Thanks to all of you. I found myself going to Blazergames and becoming friends with a fewbof them. You see l owned a race shop and they were definitely interested in that. HaHa Sincerely A True Bracketball fan.🇺🇲❤️🌹🇺🇲❤️🌹🇺🇲❤️🌹

Larry Bird was TRULY the greatest. The kids might not recognize his greatness these days since they're so detached from that time, but even Jordan, Bryant, and LeBron didn't possess that completeness that Larry Bird did. Was absolutely done by '92 with a back that was destroyed, and yet, sunk threes and amazing passes like cutting through butter during the olympic run.
