How to crochet a mini pizza | pizza keychain! Quick, easy play food mini pizza pattern
Hey guys! I hope you've all been well :)
Sorry for the break I took, I was all over the place with jobs and if you've seen my recent community post you'll know that I lost my recording space. It's now a shared space and I only have full access to it roughly once a month so I'm trying to do what I can, when I can. Sorry again and thank you for your patience!
Side note for this video: yes I'm fully aware of the lighting and sound issues present in this video but if I didn't upload it like this - in all honesty I don't have the heart to rerecord it all and also I wouldn't learn from my mistakes! It's all a learning curve for me and it's all for fun :)
So! Pizza time.

      @musicalraven1997 I taught myself to crochet almost 10 years ago and it's only these past couple of years that I've seen people tell me I'm doing it wrong because a kit or another youtuber teaches "right and wrong way", I'm happy with how my projects come out and I don't believe in a right or wrong way to crochet as it's a hobby and I'm content in how I do things ^^

    • @ludaritz
      @ludaritz 3 месяца назад

      Have you tried pinching it just a tiny smidgen tighter? I never push the ring past my 2nd knuckle for fear of it getting stuck, but my ring sits only just on my knuckle for the grip :) Otherwise might be worth putting a thin plaster / bandaid on your finger under the ring for extra grip if you're not wanting to tighten it. Hope this helps! 🧶

    • @ludaritz
      @ludaritz 7 месяцев назад

      Hello! When crocheting the border you don't go up the Ray's tail as otherwise it'd make it too thick :) Finish off at the base of the tail, to finish off cut a long yarn tail from colour A and pull that yarn through your last loop on the hook, you'll use this to sew the pieces together, at 14:14 you can see me about to pull that yarn tail through to finish off, I just edited it out because I got a bit tangled! 🧶

    Im wanting to make one that's about 14in tall (and I suppose a 10in-ishhh wide at the bottom/base). I got bernat blanket yarn for it (so super bulky) but I know that alone wont size it up enough.. Do you happen to know if I could double (or even triple) this pattern? I heard that to double amigurumi you should do twice as many stitches and do 2 of every row (so if row one is like 10 chainstitch you'd do 20 instead and then youd do that row a second time before starting on "row 2" of the pattern)... Do you happen to know if that works on this?

    • @ludaritz
      @ludaritz 11 месяцев назад

      I've never tried to make this pattern bigger but that should work! If you try it and it works feel free to comment so others can see how to do it too 😁 Otherwise I'd suggest changing the starting MR to one much bigger, say MR12 for example, then follow the pattern but make sure you adapt the final stitch count of each round to a multiple of your MR number ^^ That's how I adapt my patterns to be bigger, just make sure you keep track of stitches with markers :) Hope this helps! 🧶

    • @KraccatiusManor
      @KraccatiusManor 11 месяцев назад

      @@ludaritz Thank you so much, Im definitely going to try (currently being held up by my wild idea to make jumbo crochet pumpkins for each of my neighbors....lol.....) and I will for sure come back and let everyone know! Do you happen to know if I could essentially follow your pattern...backwards? Ive never tried this before but I was hoping to start with the "butt" of the candycorn so that I can have a better idea visually of if its turning out alright or if I need to start over and multiply the MR to a bigger number. I figure that will be a lot easier if Im looking at the width of the base instead of the tip haha

    • @ludaritz
      @ludaritz 11 месяцев назад

      @KraccatiusManor that sounds like a lovely idea for your neighbours! And as for working the pattern backwards, technically speaking yes it should work, just as long as you keep track of your rounds vs my rounds ^^ May I suggest you test it by making a smaller one to start with using normal yarn? That way you know if it'll work for your chunky stuff 😁🧶
