I know this is an old video and thing have come a long way,, except lately things are taking a step back. What I find funny is they have him performing for your entertainment and were surprised it was a bit sexual, did they even listen to the song?! I think he did it all in the heat of the moment and the performance, unlike the Madonna thing which I am sure was planned ahead of time I am glad he did not apologize had nothing to apologize for.

Frazetta is a modern day renaissance artist , A master , the master! the energy, complex composition and use of color , yet simplicity in his deliberate brush strokes says it all, always was a fan of both , but from day one as a kid of comic books frank won me over

boris and julie used tracing method of painting their originals Frank Frazetta was all imagination, he drew directly from his head, never used photos to trace and paint. He was a prodigy even taught himself to paint left handed after his stroke. there is no comparison, there is only the Master and his students.

Frank is a good artist but Vallejo ooo god look at those paintings so realistic so full of life so eye-pleasing Still I can not find better than him. Also, I think Boris is a bit more popular I mean not him as a name but his painting, it is hard to find a person to whom I told the name Boris and he told me that never heard of that name but after I show a painting, a muscular body, and the observer instantly recognizes the painting. My house is full of Boris reproductions.

Boris' look is dictated by his medium to an extent. Acrylics are just different than oils. Personally I paint in acrylic most often with the occasional watercolor here and there. I rarely paint in oils because I'm just not patient enough to wait for things to dry. Frazetta had the greatest background especially in illustrations. When creating illustrations there has to be an economy of lines and strokes. Just enough to get the message through and absolutely no more. This is evident in Frazetta's works. When one works in this way it's necessary to create a real sense of motion and activity using only composition. This is where Frazetta was King. In the end Boris' works are more photorealistic but Frazetta's works are more dynamic.

Can you imagine having a Christmas card made by Vallejo? "Santa Claus defeats the denizens of the underworld in bloody battle". Yeah, I'm not sure how that went over.
