What is the voltage from the charger required to charge the 6v battery?

Any issues with the solenoid sticking as it ages? I presume that you likely purchased one with an amp-rating sufficiently higher than your application requires; I’m just curious as to how well they hold up with repeated use over time. Thanks!

Great video, thanks for sharing! One thing I did when my turn signals wouldn't flash (on my old truck), is I got a flasher that doesn't operate off of current, it has an electronic timer in it so it can flash no matter what resistance is placed on the circuit (flashes on as little as 0.1w up to 150w). Two types I had bought and tried, one is adjustable flash rate, the other type automatically adjusts flash rate... Gebildet CF-14KT Adjustable Flasher, and the: CEC Industries EF32RL Flasher I guess your method demonstrated here would be even more foolproof for some of the modern cars like my current Dodge truck where if you get the resistances too far off stock current levels, they will trip trouble codes in the Body Control Module (with dashboard indicator warning), relays like you set up would be totally fool proof and would be the least intrusive to the vehicle lamp circuits. I have an offgrid need to weld 1/4 rebar. I am wondering if 480w @ 24v buck converter "safely" attached to my running van is enough? My van running alternator (160amps) WHILE RUNNING feeds my oversized starter battery 12v 155AH deep cycle. FYI: I am current able to power 1500watt using a 2000 watt inverter with no issues to cook and power anything under 12amps. If so and reasonable, What rod would you recommend? Any way to isolate to protect my battery, alternator and van since effectively shorting my battery.

I was afraid to hook up my six volt battery however after checking several time I connected my tt600s to my flash. No more AA batteries.

Great stuff! About to build the DIY Perks version myself soon (just got the sheaves / pulleys in the mail) and was wondering how this could be motorized. Was considering getting an Arduino and learning a little bit of wiring and code for that, but we'll see... Also, not sure what you're shooting on, but if you export to at least 2160x1440 (even if you only shot in 1080p) RUclips will encode and play your video in a higher quality codec so you don't get the lossiness that's happening with your test shots.
