You have to stop the train to fire, even in new versions. However in the upcoming Create: Aeronautics mod, you'll be able to have cannons (and even stuff like CC computers or Create trains) on airships.

Yeah as a blademaster its skill where it would create lightning around itself and if u hit him u get dammage where a nightmare but because of that i learned to kill that bastard efficiently now.

Maybe you're spinning the drill and lathe at different speeds or the drill has no water

@@SortaKris nope. I checked even in creative with creative motors at matching speeds or opposite speeds it don't work

@@VirtuReality360 spent much too long trying to fix this issue since nobody is mentioning it anywhere afaik, im not sure what fixed it but after manually compiling the newest version from github its working, atleast the drill is working but the carriage attaching doesnt work on cast iron now.... checked both in creative and survival on 1.19.2 fabric with very specific and fiddly loader, java and shader versions to make everything work as it should. happy to try helping or give pointers, since everything iv figured with this was essentially completely unrelated to minecraft alot of the time.

@petn8211 I've recently fixed it. It turns out I still had the original create mod loader (flywheel) on, and since create doesn't use it anymore it just broke create: bc
