@@kirkoglesby6175 life is so full of ups and downs, 8 years ago everything I owned was in storage, I was living with my dad in my 40s now in my 50s and things are better than ever, ow I just need the keep the lows minimal and keep lookin up!

Most of my builds started with just a frame, some of my bikes have old school parts, but I also have bikes that are 80s frame and everything is new, bmx snobs don’t like that but I have a 1980 mongoose frame and fork and everything else is brand new and it’s one of my favorite bikes

The lowrider guys still do it, when the body drop era came along it really phased out the mini truck display, I use to pull wheels and do the mirrors, but I was guilty of just laying it out once I body dropped my truck

@@MiniTruckerCult makes total sense. But the static drop guys need to bring it back in my opinion. Honestly, I never really thought about how that happened until you just explained it. You’re right though, there’s no reason to pull a wheel or use mirrors if you’re laying on the ground. 👍🏻

@@wrongwaygarage I mean it’s time to bring it back, in the mid to late 90s as body drops really came popular, it made sense then cause you couldn’t be cooler than laying body, but it’s not that big of a deal anymore, I mean I have 3 body dropped trucks myself so time for displays to come back!

@@MiniTruckerCult and that’s not to mention the display boards and the boundaries that they used back then. Even the bagged guys could still do that! ✌🏻

Z racks are pretty simple, if you have basic metal fab knowledge then it’s not bad!

@@MiniTruckerCult I just bought a 94 Mitsubishi Mighty Max. I put 100 spoke straight wire wheels on it and lowered the rear. Need time to finish the front drop spindles, springs and shocks. Running static for now. I’ll likely bag it, but it’s definitely old school. Just tripped 36,000 miles 😎

⁠​⁠@@MiniTruckerCultI have a set on my 620 and just picked up a set for my Hardbody. Right now my Nissan has 17" Titans on it. I like the Pathfinder rims a lot though.
