phan of the opera

Hello again!
My old channel got deleted again, this time without any warning. So all my personal playlists and such went with it, along with the thousands of public videos I published.
I plan on continuing to share some videos. Posting won’t be as frequent, mainly because I'm tired of uploading so many videos and then having them deleted by RUclips. Right now, I post 3 videos every weekend, with the occasional middle of the week upload if something new comes along.

Zoltan Miller & Linda Kiraly: Point of No Return

I actually do enjoy Linda quite a bit. Something about her more pop-sounding voice makes her stand out a bit. I like when Christine's in a production have different sounds in their voices more variety! Also interesting to see how they do the scene in Hungary. When the Phantom holds up his hand to stop the crowd from getting him, it reminds me of the end of the 1925 silent movie. Nice touch I th...
Norm Lewis & Sara Jean Ford: Point of No Return

Norm's best-known co-star in Phantom is Sierra Boggess, who re-joined the show to be alongside him when he debuted. But Norm had 5 other Christine's that he starred alongside as well: Julia Udine, Mary Michael Patterson, Kaley Ann Voorhees, Elizabeth Welch, and Sara Jean Ford. During Sierra's limited run with Norm, Sara Jean Ford had returned as well as the alternate. There were a ton of pictur...

From the non-replica Helsinki production! I believe Hanna is one of only two (?) Christine’s to have been in 2 different non-replicas of Phantom, but never a replica production.

The Estonian production has some interesting staging and costume choices, but I really love the casts. From what I have heard and the little I saw of Maria, she is the standout for me. Gorgeous voice. No doubt that she would be a popular Christine if she was in an English speaking production.

Years after they had understudied these roles in the replica Sweden revival, John and Hanna met again in the non-replica Kristianstad production! And got to do the roles in their own right! Non-replicas always spark mixed opinions, but the talent in them are often amazing. No exception here! Lovely to finally hear something of Hanna, and always thrilled to hear more of John. Someone make him pr...

Hope His Reprise
Can you post his MOTN? Just love Zoltan’s portrayal
Kathy could do nessarose in wicked or dot in Sunday in the park with George
The boy does phantom notes I stoped breathing
She looks like Desiree in little night music . Send in the clowns would be so awesome sing by her
Ok I had to laugh at this one because I found out that there are two Fredrick’s and one Henrick from little night music lol . Tim played hen in younger days and George was Fredrick to Sally Ann howes Desiree and Stephen was understudy for the revival cast that Catherine zeta jones did
🥰🥰🥰
It's a shame they didn't keep their word about the pics. :(
Wasn’t Georgia Wilkinson in Sydney Harbour and the EU Tour (Non Replicas)
Indeed! When I had originally done these clips it was some time ago prior to Georgia joining the Middle East Tour. Definitely will be switching the captions!
Jan is charming as Christine, though her acting is inconsistent at times and she has a noticeable warble to her voice; Dave’s acting is pretty decent but unfortunately his lack of a classical voice harms his portrayal; as for Michael Ball - he is easily one of the best Raoul’s out there and after hearing his latter performances, I honestly think he even could have played a believeable and worthy Phantom - with a bit more training and experience. But as a Raoul, he is up there with the best Raoul’s like Steve Barton, Björn Olsson, etc.
I have to be honest - Ilkka and Hinna’s performances are quite bland here, in spite of their technical prowess. I’m surprised at the poor performances, but perhaps in fairness, it was a bad night for them both.
This 'soar' sends chills all over my body everytime 1:01:01
love her christine ❤ we need a video of her singing think of me!!! 😊
I do have some full videos of her, but they can’t be shared on public platforms. Could share a clip privately with you though!
@ thanks!
@@phanoftheopera Oh could I have it too? *_*
11:01 stoppp 💔 😭
It's a shame that there isn't a complete recording of her. She also disappeared quite strangely, without a farewell show. :( By the way, do you have a recording of Colleen or Jessica? 😊
There are several full audios and videos of her, but most masters don’t want them being shared publicly either due to their own rules and/or because it’ll get taken down. But i have videos of her for trades! I do have some recordings of Colleen, one that I’m sharing during the week between Christmas and New Year’s. None have popped up of Jess yet.
@@phanoftheopera Unfortunately I'm not a collector and all the videos I have are from YT. ^^° I depend on the rest of the good people (like you) who upload something. ;)
As always you r amazing for this lovely content❤
Happy Birthday! I hope you had an amazing birthday 🎂 I'm looking forward to the new Tour cast of Phantom
♥️
Happy Birthday! I’ll go to my grave saying 1987-88 were incredible years for the Brilliant Original. Like you said, the tempo was slowed down, which had a more impactful effect. I’ll never know why things were so sped up so much in later years.
Happy Birthday! <3
Could you upload Prima Donna from the Estonian-language production?
Oh, thank you for this! 💙💙💙
And happy 25th! 🎂💞
First off Happy Birthday, second don't worry i've gone through that experience it does feel like a mid life crisis in your twenties. But you'll pull through. Third, thank you for uploading this version compering this to the current version you can appericate the original more in how it's sung and the musical moments.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY❤ I always wondered, how do you manage to post these full audios without them being taken down?
Thank you! And I think it’s really just some luck; I’ve had 1 or 2 youtube channels taken down before and just start over each time lol
Jan Hartley was one of the finest early Christines - yet rarely gets mentioned.
I saw this cast. :-)
Thank you thank you thank you!!! ❤❤❤❤ and happy holidays!!!
♥️♥️
I bought a few hundred TRC20 USDT from a friend, and he gave me a string of code (e95295df4634a8e08e2a505b89339757ccebc4ea5e87b567140dc9aa09530f83). What does it mean? How do I transfer it to OKX?
oh my gosh ❤
Imo, this non replica is FAR superior than that cheap one that was in Greece, Middle East, and now in Europe. I personally love the design of the phantom's lair, his oufit; the entire production ambience just SCREAMS Phantom! I loved that they used a full orchestra pit of 60-70. THAT is how you respect the score of this amazing performance. My one issue is the phantom's deformity; it could've been a lot better. The casting of Ilkka as the Phantom was brilliant. He is actually an operatic and classically trained Tenor
Honestly, the production design is quite cheap and lax - though I agree having a full orchestra pit suits this production far better. Unfortunately, in spite of being an operatic trained tenor, I’m shocked at the poor performances by all three leads - although, in fairness, perhaps it was just a bad night for the main leads, though perhaps not. They are not as good as other operatic tenor and baritones or sopranos have done and who played the roles believably.
I’ve heard of only one other Grant performance with adrienne m. that ppl have audios of. i still haven’t seen one surface, but i’m always looking.
I have 3 audios of Grant, though i think there’s another one of him in London too. One of them i have is with him and Adrienne! I should post some clips of it.
@ i know we’d all very much appreciate if you did ❤️ u really r the absolute best
happy birthday. r u doing the christmas week again
Yep! I have all the videos scheduled.
Loved lily as cosette and love her now as Christine and when lily and jon harmonize oh yes i qant to see this live
I'm *GUESSING* the only thing Georgia and Colm have in common is the last name? 😃
I’d imagine so! I feel like she would’ve mentioned it already if so
I saw it live with my best friend it was such a great experience. I love the songs so much 💓
I know who recorded this from seat H31 in the upper circle ;-)
Maria Listra is a wonderful Christine!
He reduced me to tears. I so enjoyed this production that I went back to see it again the following day
I think this is my new favorite rendition, displacing Michael Crawford's after thirty years of listening to different Phantoms. That note of poignant pleading when he sings "touch me" just rips my heart out.
Lisa is the best Christine I've seen. She is my favorite.
This is gorgeous! 🙌
Hi Marlene, Can you please also upload All I Ask Of You and Reprise with these three as well? 🙏
I don't remember it like this in any of the other productions (but i love the callback to phantom, especially the soft guitar riff)
This scene was changed up a bit in between Australia and the US Tour. When they decided to release the CD of the show (which featured the Australian production but was marketed to coincide with the US Tour) they had this new beginning recorded by Ben Lewis and Jack Lyall on it.
I love norm but he is really struggling with those high notes
This is a SOLID cast 🤗
Doesn't get any better.
Hope His Reprise
I just found out weeks ago about ben lewis wife melle. Its very sad. Applaud his great devotion to be a carer to his wjfe. Proofs that he truly loves her. He has brilliant singing voice. His wife is lucky woman. Hope she is getting over her stroke. ❤❤
Y'all are seriously sleeping on Poland 2019. Vegas, Oslo, and Poland are top tier. Very happy that the London chandelier crashe is so much better and it looks like that's what we're getting when they start the North American tour next November.
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much Marlene! I have been wanting to hear Franc’s Wandering Child for a long time now. You are the best. ☺️
MY SF CAST. ❤
