Really, pastel colour scheme, unnecessary cute and views. Sure there is the promise of integrating the manga and anime content later in the series where they started consolidating, skipping, expanding and adding filler material but in the first few episodes, the remake only removed content unnecessarily and altered scenes to be more politically correct. Granted, the remake needs to distinguish itself early on and that's difficult as many of the pacing issues with the original anime simply didn't exist with the first few episodes and too many changes my ght disrespect the content while just carbon copying the early episodes of the original anime would also be equally pointless, in my opinion, the early episodes of the remake simply removes more than it adds.

I like it but imo there's a bit too much going on in the page and gets a bit confusing. Art is amazing and the story could end up being peak but you can never really tell from the first volume

I feel like it's going to be like curse energy, where all the negative and dark thoughts you try to push away swell inside your body until your urges take over.

One of my favourite things about this remake is Ranma himself. I dont remember him actually being likable in the original anime (and granted i havent read the manga). I like how he is actually a decent person who does actually care about Acane but puts up a front to try not to be hurt by her rejection. My favourite episode so far is the ice skating one with the creepy kissing guy, and how protective Ranma got over Acane. I like Ranma standing up to the perves and creeps. Maybe because of my history of S.A. that makes me hypervigilant and protective of others, i dunno. But i really appreciated that. And Ranma's english voice actor with his gutteral screams of "Acane" when she was fighting Shampoo was just Chefskiss! I adore the emotion this voice actor is putting into his performance. My mum HATES anime, and she actually sat through several episodes with me and enjoyed it. I also like how the nudity is not as pervy as i remember the original being? (But also i havent watched that in like 25 years or so?).

This is such an amazing remake, MAPPA went all-out with the animation quality once again. The VAs, both in Japanese and English are incredible. For the Japanese dub you have the old cast brought back, while for English you got a new but impressive cast whose voices are identical to their japanese counterparts. Plus Shampoo's Mandarin in the English dub is literally fluent bcz her VA is Chinese-American. Overall it's been a banger show

I love the exaggerated boisterousness of the original Tatewaki Kuno voice. The new one doesn't work for me. On the flip side, the new Shampoo is way better. The old one was annoying.

Weirdly I've seen people hating this for not being what the author envisioned but they always refer to the old anime that chaged more than the new one did. Not even joking the old anime was almost half original content outside the manga.

I actually really love the Remake so far. I hope it gets a long run.
