honestly i dont like any footage coming out of R8. im selling mine and planning to buy Sony ZVE1 or Panasonic S5iix. Since I have used Sony & Blackmagic & Panasonic extensivily and being a colorist, Canon has some serious issues with its Dynamic Range.
i bought Canon R8 due to its compact body and 4k 60fps downsampled from 6k sensor however im not at all satisfied with any footage not to mention photos.
Canon definitely has its strengths and weaknesses like any other camera. Appreciate your viewpoints!! Thanks for reaching out. Please subscribe as we will be putting out much more content we'd love to have your opinion on!📸📸🔥🔥

I would suggest you too shoot with higher shutterspeed, possibly 400-500. Also look into getting a wrist strap like "Peak Design", the default strap is terrible haha!

Been shooting street with the R8 since it came out and the RF 35mm. 6 months ago got the 24-105 F4 L on credit. Wow bro if you can you should try this lens it is so sharp. Loved your video looking forward to more. Peace from Canada.

@mrgarrych 24-105 is a great lens but we were looking into grabbing the Sigma 24-70 first. Do you have experience with this lens?
I havent any experience with it, not sure if it will fit an R8, canon has been restricting 3rd party lenses for RF mount, maybe EF mount with adaptor.
