That water is already thick, like the pasta is over cooked and some of that pasta is already falling apart 😮
Congratulations you must have very great eyes to see that the pasta is “overcooked” or “falling apart” or that the water is thick.
@@Sweetlikehunnay it’s all from experience. I went to culinary school when I was younger and I’ve been a homemaker for 27 years!
Great! First off, it’s not over cooked or falling apart (I should know, I was there) and of course the water will be a little thick towards the end since there’s starch in the water now. AND that was at the end prior to dumping the water out.

@honeylynj Can your mom speak English??? Don't be rude. I don't like the pasta water taste in the sauce. Everyone is different.
The starch in the water makes it a bit thicker as it cooks down, like how corn starch mixed with water is added to Chinese food sauces to thicken them up!
