The cupcakes are the only hostess product worth picking up in my opinion (I’ve heard the strawberry cupcakes are also delicious). Little Debbie beats them when it comes to everything else.

In Kampala I saw the women selling Gooseberry, Bananas, Red Grapes and Apples. The apples were packed in a triangular pvc bag. Also men selling pineapple at traffic crossings
The custard apple fruit is very delicious. Sweet and a distinct flavour, also added in icecreams.

Village Life is simple, the people use home grown veggies and milk from cattle, all organic. Boda Boda is the lifeline and provides a means of livelihood. But would like to travel sometime in those wagons called Matato.
Yes Boda Boda are the fastest ways of getting around 😅
I was on the ferry when we went Marchusin Falls National park. The stay at Pakuba Safari lodge was wonderful. At night the hippos and antelopes would come and graze near the pool.

The best 🥑 and 🍍I ever tasted. The jackfruits were huge. The women could be seen selling Gooseberry, Red Grapes and Apples at the traffic crossing. I preferred buying from them rather than the big stores.

I enjoyed the stay at Jinja, and Munyono. Excellent service and location too. The fresh Tilapia was delicious and amongst the many activities, the quad biking was the best!

I was there in May 2024, the food was great, especially the mix beef/chicken Shawarma palate...lots of fries and the overall service and ambience was great 👍 on weekends waiting time. Parking at Acacia is free for 1st hour, thereafter 1000 UG shillings per hour.
