My husband and I has been married 47 yrs. We were high school sweet hearts so we really have been together 51 yrs all together. He had ask me 3 times and I had to turn him down. We did take a couple of months off but then we knew after the 2 months he asked 1 more time then I said yes. Marriage is hard work but we knew it would be we were 19 when finally married and have a wonderful family.

Im in love with Sam Elliotts voice too .I won’t chose any single one of these marriages as a favorite. I’m impressed with all of them. All marriages are difficult and require effort, compromise, discipline and understanding. A marriage lived out in the lime light and cruel scrutiny of Hollywood must be even more difficult so I admire and congratulate all of these couples for their accomplishment. I can only assume they have the most important requirement for any long term relationship…They just Love and respect each other!

Glad I watched this. I didnt know Alan has been around so long. One day my son asked if we, Mom and Dad, would ever get a divorce. Right away I said no because we had made a promise to each other before we got married that we would stay married irrevocably. Its engraved on the husbands ring. Kids hear so much about divorce in school I guess our son got a little worried.

The stingray didn’t understand what a huge mistake, taking Steve from the wildlife world, was. He and his family, truly do amazing conservation work, buying land purely so no development can occur, in order to preserve it for the animals. That is true love for wildlife, because they won’t profit from the land, it’s just to save it from becoming yet another concrete jungle. Steve will forever be missed 😢
