Our Gee Bee R2-models 1:2,3 and 1:2 are built by the help of original plans out of wooden construction.
The book "Gee Bee" by Delmar Benjamin and Steve Wolf - „A full color story of the construction and flying of the Gee Bee R-2 replica as told by builder Steve Wolf and pilot Delmar Benjamin“ was a big help, because of the detailed descriptions.
All pieces of GFK (fibre glass reinforced plastics), cowling, wheelspats etc. are produced by sophisticated handwork in our workshop.

Ist das ein Bausatz oder selbstgebaut?
Bei mir gibt es keine Modelle, die aus einem Bausatz entstanden sind. Und eine Gee Bee R2 1:2, sprich eine Spannweite von 3,82 m, gibt es ohnehin nicht. Mir ist zumindest kein Bausatz in dieser Größe bekannt.

Very nice flight. I have already flown a similar Geebee, the "D" model. It is not an easy plane to fly, especially for landings. Too bad the video is not very clear at times. It would have been necessary to zoom sometimes. Such a plane which makes such a beautiful flight with such a good pilot deserves a camera and a film of better quality.
