College Football just came back, give Arena football more views and advertise it more people! EA is so desperate they could bring us Arena Football 27 at half the price of Madden and College Football

dope video man! I played the original arena football a lot on the OG xbox but never this one. I think the poor naming of "road to glory" without actually having a road to glory or career mode is what kept players (at least me) on the first Arena football game in the year before.

Here in Texas the year Vince Young came out of of HS, Reggie McNeal was the no. 2 rated QB in Texas behind him. He went to Lufkin HS, the same HS as Dez Bryant. He was a beast at AM but never quite played for anything meaningful back in the day. I think Javorskie Lane was on that AM squad to from Lufkin. He was a 5 star QB back in the day.

Tecmo Bowl needs to be respected and Bill Walsh College Football but this game was Epic in itself. Its definitely top 5 alltime. The series peaked with the engine they used that year. The gameplay was smooth AF.

I do adore these games but I cannot stand the control layout for these old gen football games. X/A to sprint is just the worst. I usually go into pcsx2 and change the bindings to a more modern feel but I wish you could do it natively in game.

Madden 08/09 had a few more features (but no Tony Bruno), and a couple features were taken out between 07 and 08. If you could combine 05-09 you'd never need to make another game.

I’ve done the importing your player it’s so sick I remember doing it for my NCAA07 too madden07 ncaa was just much more smooth I feel like but both great games

Madden 07 is a masterpiece on ps2 and og xbox I got madden 07 on original xbox what’s so good about madden 07 on og xbox and ps2 and gamecube is that they still had the tony bruno show on franchise mode

What makes this better than Madden 08?

would you say, in 2024, ncaa 06 is better than madden 2k5? i am looking for the "best football" game from that ps2 era to play on the steam deck via emulator.

The jack lb cant leave the box unless the qb moves outside the box

I owned this and played it all the time. I always tried to get a 1,000 yards with my rbs. I either traded for Dan Alexander or Bo Kelly , no matter what team i used.

Every time I call up a prospect or try to make a cool storyline with a young player, they just suck in sim. I feel like you have to just trade for good established players

Create a team was awesome in those days. So quick and easy. I don't think Team builder offered that much more when you consider it was less convenient to use.

You did the right move drafting Brown first. In most rebuilds when you have a player ranked high in the team ranking and not ranked in the MLB ranking the player is usually still there after 3 rounds. You just got unlucky unfortunately

I also remember when you played this game online they gave you trophies 🏆 for things you did and you could track your stats and compare them to your friends stats. Then you could play a ranked hardcore match and it showed next to your name you was a all madden skill player

NCAA 06 came out right before my senior year of high school. My brother and I used to go crazy with the created teams.

The most important attribute to make the vision cone bigger was actually awareness that’s why nobody’s was bigger than Tom Brady & peyton manning cause they were the only qb’s with 99 awareness rating

I absolutely loved this game. I’d SERIOUSLY consider giving a toe to have a perfect PS2 set up that doesn’t require adapters (that don’t even make it look like it did on a CRT TV like they’re supposed to) and this game. Huge part of my childhood here.
