I’m a 3rd generation potato farmer in eastern Idaho. I love the farming life and the equipment we get to use. I love watching farming videos and so I decided to make some of my own. In the future I may start vlogging. But for now enjoy!!

Fall ground work with a 9520RT pulling a 13 shank Kuhn Dominator

Here we are working wheat stubble with a Kuhn dominator which discs the stubble so the residue is more manageable. It also has ripper shanks which tears through the ground breaking up any compaction from harvest. We do this to prepare the ground for the next years potato crop which will be planted in the spring

Harvesting of yellow potatoes in eastern Idaho using a Spudnik 6160 wind rower and 6640 harvester. The wind rower goes in front and lifts 6 rows of potatoes and placed them on front of where the harvester will go. This enables us to cover ground quicker and it also helps us be more gentle when harvesting because the more product on the chains actually cushions itself

Discing up a harvested potato field to get it ready for winter wheat seeding
seeing you be upset about the noodles but then immediately going to improve them is amazing and inspiring to me! i would've given up but you didn't and i really respect that! I love your videos. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
We congratulate you, you are introducing us to the village and country life in a pure and clear way, with a nice level of sincerity.thank you
Love it. We love taters.
Me gustaría trabajar en su compania

Awesome video How much power does 12 row needs and at what speed?
Hi. What is the yield this year? Thank you.
Would you buy another lemken product? Looking to get a Rubin as well
I would. They have held up very well
Great vid! Thanks for posting. I just wonder, what's the purpose of the JD with the loader?
It’s there to pull the trucks out if they get stuck
he State of Maine harvested 2 billion pounds of potatoes this year; it looks as if you could get that much in that one field.
Nice video! Here's mine from the Red River Valley in North Dakota - ruclips.net/video/NYHej3zYSQ0/видео.html
Thanks a ton!! I’ve watched a lot of your videos and I like yours a ton!!
Just watching this im like mmmmm job security because i dont think i will ever have a shortage of beet sugar to bag
We dig 16s. I would have some pissed off warehouse crew if i sent that much dirt to the warehouse.
10 rows at a time is impressive. I remember dad pulling a 2 row Spudnik into our shop, cutting it in half, and adding two more rows in the middle. Our neighbors thought he was nuts.
I have never seen a cab guard mounted in front of a defoliator, is that a thing in your aria? I sell Amity in the northern red river valley.
We have a lot of fields with gravel so we have those to try and keep the window from breaking. Doesn’t always work
Nice video
Looks like he needs to slow down lots of dirt going in the truck.
Normally yes we don’t want that much dirt but these are yellow potatoes and they are a little more fragile than your regular brown potato so we dig them wetter than normal so we can send the dirt for cushioning
Enjoyed the video! Great drone shots! Thanks!
One thing about it..... That digger can DIG!!
Pretty cool, I think we grow lentils and wheat up here in North Idaho
Moscow, Idaho, the lentil capital of the world.

The equipment company name 🤣🤣 thanks for sharing 👍
Using a Spudnik 6160 6 row windrower and a 6640 4 row harvester
It is literally written on the equipment. Manufactures are funny like that.
Spudnik is a great name for a digger. LMAO the 1st time my dad brought one home from Idaho.
@@potatofarmer6647 He wasn't asking for the name, he was making fun of it, for those that didn't get the reference en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sputnik_1
