Biased for ssb. I trust you bias the transistors on a bit to prevent crossover distortion on AM too right?
As for sideband operation. The transistor must be operated in class b or ab1 per the arrl handbook.
Right. The same is true for AM linear operation. Class B typically push-pull - still needs bias due to the base conduction threshold of about .65 volts. @@Mr-ws8if

I'm buying Mario Preacherman's TS S16 you did a vid on two months ago. Can a remote with ssb delay switch be made and the connection in the box? Also, I have a Stryker 955 doing maybe 80 watts, and may buy a Galaxy 95T with built in dual 2290 amp section. Which would be a better match? Maximum input dead key and "swing" into the TS would be best and safest? Thank you.
