Thank you so much, man. I owe you one! I'm not a locksmith so when that switching link fell on the floor I looked a long time trying to figure out where it went. I knew it rocked when the deadbolt moved and that the little magnet was part of the proximity switch for the alarm. But I had never been inside one of these before. I was only going to change the low 9 V battery and ended up radiusing the bottom square edge of the dead bolt with a file so it would lock more smoothly. But in the course of my investigation, I removed the Alarm board and the lock cylinder and didn't notice the switching link until it fell on the floor! I'm usually pretty good at figuring things out.But I am not too proud to I might have played with that forever and never figured it out. So Thanks again!

How we can link lock with gateway if we lost the original credential card ?

so after watching the video my only question is "How To Link A Schlage NDE Lock Into An IP Mode Gateway" as in How do you link the Schlage NDE Lock Into An IP Mode Gateway. Not how to add a gateway to the app.

Nobody cares about the dimensions. As Carpenters, the doors are already prepped for these. The boxes should come with assembly instructions and they never do.

Two serious issues with this video, especially being sponsored by the manufacturer. First the DC wiring is a mess, which is typical of installers that only have experience at McDonalds. Second is the reason for no DC output in this example is there is a Battery Backup module installed in the upper right corner, and of course there are no batteries installed. This panel initially lost AC power, tried to switch over to DC, but no batteries. The safety feature of this panel is locking out the DC power so someone would check and fix the problem. Pulling the voltage selection jumper is not a fix. Installing batteries since the emergency power module was already installed would have been the real fix. In our region, battery backup of ADA door openers is required but many local suppliers and installers make the claim it's not necessary, that is until the day the door doesn't work, someone gets hurt and the lawsuits start. I encourage Allegion to take this video down and make a proper one.

Know anything about the e7500? I have a 7500 and am trying to add a card reader. I want the physical/cylinder lock to still work if the power is out

In the select a device type menu, "Gateway" is not an option for me.

I work in a commercial office bldg as the maintenance engineer. We had a tenant move out a couple of years ago. There are 4 of these in that space. Please tell me there's a way to "De-commision" these locks. I've spent hours trying to figure these out, find the correct and download the Engage app. Once I got it all ready (including re-keying the core), I can't connect to them because they're already commissioned. There is no way to find out who commissioned have them and release it. Is there anything I can do? These are very nice and expensive locks that we'd like to reuse. Thank You.

How do you remove doors and notour factors from the card?

I had to install one of these today, and the exterior cylinder would not open the door with set screw in either position. Is there something else I am missing?
