@@DevicesHelpSupport Gen1 echo can connect to the Amazon wifi on the app but eventually it says it cannot. New router installed, wiped all data from Amazon account and reset Alexa to factory spec. I have a new dot that was having the same connection problem. Went into my Amazone account and under Devices changed the Automatic connection to On. No password was required. The dot connected. Tried connecting the gen 1 to both 2.5 and 5ghz with no success.

I gotta object to mingriskevivius8683's comment.. this kid of stuff even as easy as the providers put it in their instructions is not that easy, some basic Knowledge is required. In my case I was able to connect it ONLY with this tutorial because I was unable to configure is even following the manufacturer's instructions. So, thanks a lot for this tutorial.

Netgear AC1750 Wifi Cable Modem Router Model: C6300 is EOL and the router page does not work anymore, now it is done through the 'Nighthawk' app, that says it no longer supports my device. 😢

I have. a weird issue, my Arris surfboard config website (at 192.168 whatever) is unreachable, I get some weird ssl error. it's like the 404 page, but it's a ssl error.

@@extenderhelp7486 yes. in brave it says "this site can't provide a secure connection 192.168.1.0 uses an unsupported protocol ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH" I didn't update firmware ever,, so I really have no idea what changed, as I didn't have this issue until months ago, after having no issues for almost a decade, but have not been able to access the dashboard since it began
@@extenderhelp7486 yes I'm not sure if my original reply got deleted but "ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH" is the error page it says it's an unsupported protocol I've never updated the firmware or anything and it's worked fine for years until a few months ago.
