These are the modifications I have done to my drone to make it more user friendly. NOT WATERPROOF ANYMORE, but this is not a worry for me.I now have a much greater performance from this unit.I use this drone specifically for fishing. Hope you get some ideas that may be of use to you.

This video shows simple method to splice rope directly to chain for a physically small connection to allow to go through pulleys, etc. Video also shows splicing a conventional eye in the end of a rope to form a loop.

Experimental lifting system to determine if it will work, power requirements and control. If this is successful, the next process is to get it to go on the side of a motorhome and over the top to be on the roof of motorhome.
