He asked for something that scares him. He got it. He got so bored by his own strength he forgot what fear REALLY tastes like. Might I also add, that this fight was taken so seriously for so long that Oda might as well had Luffy "play around" (-Kaido) by using that Gear 5 for shits and gigles. As if people watch the fight for so long that people wonder in laughter when this fight will end 😂🤣👍😭📝

Yeah these excessive auras and energy blasts were so dumb and unnecessary
You clearly failed to grasp the epicness and the meaning of it. It wasn't only Luffy smashing Kaido. It was the whole of Wano's people suffering and plight in those punches. Since Kozuki Oden fought him Kaido hadn't really been seriously challenged nor injured. Sure you do still have a point. Every movie or series ever made has unnecessary SFX and all. The point of it is not the utility of it. Epicness needs no justification. Maybe you should watch mute movies in black and white 😂
