LA River Bike Trail | short section from Owensmouth Ave. to Tampa Ave. (San Fernando Valley)
This is the first of a video series that will capture the developing 51 mile "bike freeway" that starts near the mountains of San Fernando Valley and ends near the ocean at Long Beach in California. The bike trail is a part of the LA River Master Plan to revitalize and enhance the areas surrounding the Los Angeles River that was channelized starting in the late 1930's with concrete and bordering fences to control flood waters running down from the mountains. For bike riders and commuters, this "bike freeway" is a dream coming true!

Performance Review | Ebkarocy 14" Tire Ebike (PART 1)
Просмотров 17021 день назад
This review was done after two weeks of daily riding (on September 23, 2024). I am late posting this video, please excuse the delay. This bike has performed well beyond my expectations. The smallness of the bike is a huge plus. As well, the battery lasts easily 20 miles using throttle only while carrying me and my son for half of those miles. And the bike itself is comfortable, despite the size...

I spent several months researching different electric bikes for the sole purpose of commuting my 10 year old son to and from school. I needed something small, a two-seater, good reviews, inexpensive and able to handle at least 240 lbs. I was torn between several brands like Rattan, Vivi, Engwe and Sohamo. I decided on the Ebkarocy Urban Challenger for reasons noted in the video. The video is lo...

    I have to say that this video was excellent. You explained everything well I admire your honesty and more video should be like this. I’m in the market for looking for an E bike as well and I did look at the Ed Cosi. I may be going with that ebike. thank you for actually showing the ins and outs of this bike, a lot of the videos out there they edit and take away all that stuff that you’re actually showing. Great job on it. Also, your little puppy is awesome in the video. Very well-behaved. Great job.

      @michaelcappuccio9519 thank you so much! I've put quite a few miles on this ebike and every day I'm more happy with my decision. The brakes are quiet and very good, it very quick especially on a full charge, easy to maneuver and so far really durable. I'd buy again. However it's a small bike so really closer to a large sit down scooter, and pedaling doesn't give you more mileage nor speed. Much success with your purchase and decision. And thank you about our puppy! We loved him so much but he was hit by a car last month and killed. It was devastating.

      i bought some orthopedic seat gel for motorcycle seats and cut it in the shape of the seat. took off the seat, just four easy nuts/bolts under the seat. and i bought some marine vinyl and used a staple gun. i stapled the back first then the sides to hold the vinyl in place and then did the front which is the hardest because it's round. there are some good seat covering videos on youtube; i watched a few.

    • @PlantBasedPartnas
      @PlantBasedPartnas 13 дней назад

      My seat did the same thing. Yes you can fix that. The clamp that unlocks to allow you to raise the seat, is also able to turn and tighten. You'll notice there's a nut on the other end of the clamp that you may need to hold still while you turn the clamp clockwise, I believe, to tighten. It will need a slight turn or maybe one full turn. Then when you close clamp toward the seat stem, you should feel a lot more tension and it should be hard to close the clamp flush. I tighten mine to the point that I need 2 hards to close the clamp; my seat won't budge! Lmk how it goes and much success🤙🏿

    Pretty week 22amp controller built into the battery casing. Gets extremely hot. You should drill holes at the top. Battery gets extreme voltage sag because it's so small. 15 to 20 miles range on throttle. I installed a 2nd 20amp battery the next day. Now its fun but still slow acceleration. the 22amp controller is below average Safe ride ✌

      good lookin! i wish i knew more about ebikes, but im just gettin into them. i haven't noticed anything getting hot except for the charger; i wish it had a fan like my other charger. i definitely agree though on the range. maybe 20 at best once you do level 2 or more. that sucks for long trips. But on level 1 this thing has incredible range; that's what i've been testing this week. Probably close to the 70 miles they advertised, but it's workout! Appreciate you!

    • @oltskooler
      @oltskooler 17 дней назад

      @@PlantBasedPartnas after a ride take off the battery and touch the bottom part of the battery rack on the bike where the controller sits. It can't breath. It's no space inside and will fail trust me. It gets so hot you can barely touch it Don't worry about the charger. They get hot that's normal. Best is you get a timer to plug it into the wall and try not to fully charge the battery each time. It will shorten the lifespan of the battery tremendously. Around 80 percent Charge is the best. But than again with such a small battery you'll probably want to fully charge it so you get some range.

    I looked at the same bikes you mentioned and also bought the Ebkarocy. I have about 700 miles on mine. It's been great. The alarm system that also locks rear hub motor so it can't be rolled or ridden away is a great feature. When I go to stores, I use the cheap included bike lock and set the alarm. Mine lives outside, under a roof with open sides so it has gotten rained on. Some rust on the silver allen screws around the frame that I will clean up and spray with some automotive clear coat. The tires like between 35 and 40 lbs of pressure. I use level 1 speed on bumpy roads (@14 mph max). Level 2 on good roads @17 mph. I mainly use level 3 for uphill. The best feature compared to other ebikes I've encountered is that the motor is absolutely silent, no annoying whine. Hope you have many safe miles and your son has a great school year. Peace

    Great video, thanks for the info. Do you feel comfortable placing both QSCs K12.2 speakers on the tripod using the device. My concern is if it will tip over easily.

      Thank you, glad you found the info useful! I have placed both K12.2s on the dual poles while on a tripod speaker pole and I made sure that the feet were VERY WIDE. However, it was more difficult taking the speakers off and you will definitely need two people to load and load off the tripod to prevent them from tipping over. You dont have that much of an issue when using with the subwoofer speaker pole. Much success!

      Thanks for the info. My main concern was the bracket failing in the middle of a show. Amazon says it supports 60lbs, the website says 80lbs, the instruction says 100lbs. The conflicting info didn’t sit well with me.

    Can anyone tell me where I can buy just the qsc k12.2 amp module, or another compatible one? I have a k12.2 stopped and I don't want to fix its amp anymore.
