Can you make a video of the eliminator 6. I just bought one, and i just wonder if I have set the top click radical and windage click to zero before i programming the scope to the burris app

on the 870/1187 mount running a wood stock the rear mount allen tension screw will leave a small dent imprint in the wood if you tighten down too much... doesnt take much but at least you wont see it after mounting. the installation process had issues. there is a tiny bit of removing wood where the prongs sit. you need to make relief where they sit in the wood.i used mini harbor freight files. didnt have to remove much but takes time to get it fitted had to go slow.time consuming had to take on and off a buncha times. once the red dot was installed i ran out of adjustment. the red dot sat wayyyyyy below the bead. stacking the 2 included spacers was close but stil not enough. after re-search and calling Burris found out there is a companies that make delrin plastic 1 degree wedge shaped spacers that will give you more adjustment. UM tactical makes one and ade optics. these wedge spacers can be used either way to give more or less elevation. Burris should include this spacer in the speed bead kit. tosave alotta headaches... if you dont wanna drill and tap or dont have a vent rib this product is an option.

Of course it did not do damage to the roof. Factors 1. Compact size - tensil strength plays in many forms. Quality, gravity, force, density, build, etc... at this matter it would depend on what purpose you would require the binos for. 2. Narrow bridge - boundless shapes build. Porro of this type gives away flat body making it narrow on the edges. 3. Thick polyester/polymer - less spatial than porro. However at the cost of Phase-correction. Porro has more tridimentional images. 4. Air density (nitrogen) - less than porro . However, cause this Marine type are constructed for maritime making it at least waterproof than roof.

mounting the Eliminator III Laserscope on the picatinny rail of a AR-10 proved impossible with the very small scope mounts from Burris. The weight of the scope is too much for a single pair of mounts to retain a grip after recoil impacts of just a few shots. Long story short; Burris admitted these 1/2 wide mounts have proven insufficient for mounting the heavy 50 mm Eliminator III. Burris sent, at no cost, another set of mounts. The total is 4 on the scope and Blue Loctite secured the screws. So far this has worked. The scope still must be pushed backwards prior to tightening the Burris mounts. Any slack allows the scope to move backwards from recoil momentum eventually loosening the screws. Hopefully Burris engineers will step up to address their tiny inadequate mounts. Compared to other scope mounting systems they are pathetic, especially for what the EIII retails for, i.e. $1500.

After the hunting season is over do you take out the battery ?

Relief cuts? No thank you. Make a product that fits without requiring smithing. Then I'll buy it.

I don't think you need the BC, just the drop number in inches from 100 or 200 yards to 500 yards. My advice is to zero at 100 or 200, then take some shots at 500 and manually measure the drop in inches.

i am looking to fit something like this scope to an HK-G3, does these things last long, do you think it will take the punishment such a rifle exherts?. and isn't the bushnell range finding 4-12X42 scope better... thanks in advance.

I bought an Eliminator and when I have been siting it in after about ten shots the ranger finder stops working. I think it has something to do with the 12 power on the scope. I have read the instructions but can not find out why my range finder keeps shutting off. I would take the battery out and put it back in and that would turn it on for one or two shoots then it would quit working again. ghill26388
