I asked a few other moms of multiple kids if they experienced anything like this and most of them said that they think they were too busy to really notice it. I think now that it might have been better if I had all my kids with me from the beginning, but I guess I’ll never know. I feel very lucky that this was the extent of the negative feelings I had and I never felt that I didn’t love my kids or anything worse than that. I also never felt that I couldn’t connect with my baby or my other kids.

Fun video! Great experiment to do for anyone - not that I really want to replicate it. :) I was raised before constant connectivity (or personal computers or even the moon landing) was a thing so I have a feel for the strings we're tied with but it would still be tough for me (my career was in computer science). Big question: why weren't you playing board games?
It was definitely harder than it should be lol I would have played board games but I just didn't find the time that week. The games I wasn't letting myself play were all phone and computer games cause I'll just sit and play them for hours and do nothing else productive lol
