The mission of the Pontifical John Paul II Institute in Washington D.C. begins in the abiding conviction that love reveals the meaning of the person and, through the person, of all "flesh," the whole of creation. The Institute is devoted to the study of the human person in all of its dimensions: theological, philosophical, anthropological, and cosmological-scientific. The Institute centers its study of the person in the community that is the original cell of human society: marriage and family.
The John Paul II Institute in D.C. offers accredited theology degrees at the Master's (M.T.S.), Licentiate (S.T.L.), and Doctoral (Ph.D. and S.T.D.) levels.

Thank you for the enlightening and very clear presentation on a complicated topic. Father Lopez mentioned an essay from 1975 called “Subjectivity and the irreducible in man“. Is that included in the two volumes of the collected works that are already published?

I love his ideas and think his conclusion is right.

Seeing the truly terrible state of the Church today, 2023, I wonder, why so many theologians praised in this talk was so ineffective in preventing devastation of the Church?
Wait, what was the conclusion? How is the problem resolved?
Father Fessio at some point of this talk call Balthasar's book "Razing of the bastions" a "wonderful book". I read it and in my opinion it has a high emotional tone, but very little substantial content.
Personal freedom vs. the common good as actualized by government. Or, Liberty AND Union, as Daniel Webster argued.
Doesn't free market represent common good created by individual good?
If you want evidence, there's all of science and history. Proof is only in math. Eternity is real. Circles can't be seen by 3D eye only 2D mind can. Etc
What happens at 1hr12min? Fr Fessio is about to say something very interesting and the films cuts forward.
