@@RockmanXelnia2same, I’ve been following everything on Reddit so I can stay updated as soon as possible, In my opinion he’s the most versatile break dps (5 star at least) him being slot-able in so many times is a godsend, he honestly should be in the highest tier with firefly especially if we’re talking E0S0

To be fair, Blade is early year 1 and powercreep is inevitable. Blade is still capable of clearing content, but needs a better team to support him. Jade did give him a lifeline with her Debt Collector buff, which turns his team into dual-DPS and lets him charge his Retaliation faster. If the game doesn't introduce powerful characters, especially when it's time for a gameplay shift, that only produces an unhealthy game environment because powerful characters are also potential upgrades to existing characters. For example, while Topaz eventually got Ratio as a Follow-up partner, she didn't start seeing her potential shine until Jade and Feixiao came and now Sunday is looking to be a powerful support for her. When we look at it that way, these strong characters are necessary. The problem is when character kit designs are bad or they hold back, like Yukong. We'll see, but as long as there's a way for older characters to clear content, we don't need to be that concerned for now.

Sparkle is still good, but she always had that niche specialty of being an answer to SP-intensive teams. I've already seen footage of Sunday being able to maintain Imbibitor's enhanced basic ATK with no issues at E0. If anything, Sunday powercrept the universal potency of Harmony altogether.

@@RockmanXelnia2 another thing I don’t like is how universal supports have becoming while still being the best in their own field as much as robin is a convenience for me she’s almost too cracked in every team and almost mandatory in FUA teams the same with Sunday he’s pushing out supports literally dedicated to sp regen while still being the best in summon comps

Yeah, we're finally starting to see percentage-based regen run away with being the more ideal support compared to a flat recharge like Tingyun's. We were already beginning to see that potential with Huohuo, but I definitely like the new Trace ability on Sunday. Now we can definitely push into 300+ Energy caps.

That's a safe route to go. Sunday is the writing on the wall for the new meta and while he obviously helps some current teams massively, his headline DPS unit is likely either 3.0 or anniversary. It would have been easier had the rerun came after 2.7 but that's just timing. Hope you do well for Sunday!

I don't think you get it. Fugue already has a built in super break enabling mechanic as well as exo-toughness just by being on the field. Now that her skill has a colorless break for whoever the skill is applied to, she is now a literal universal break support that is better in break teams. The rainbow toughness reduction from her ult is also beneficial. It breaks enemies regardless of their weakness type which action advances your characters (because breaking enemies delays the turn) and helps deal super break damage faster for your main DPS. I can somewhat understand your complaints, think about the character overall and the impact they have on the team instead of nitpicking everything you don't like about them.

I think that rainbow toughness is meant to help other units without it breaking enemies regardless of type since her E6 does make her skill an AoE buff. It's kinda niche at E0 but can be useful in some scenarios. The HMC replacement thing is definitely dead now since she's completely different from our MC's capabilities as a break support. I don't think she's gonna replace but help our MC deal AoE rainbow toughness on a sustainless break team or help Lingsha break enemies with her AoE skills.

The only issue with Acheron and Firefly, as I've used both of them too, is that setting up a near infinite loop with either requires more work through Blessings/Curios to pull off while Feixiao's natural synergies make an infinite loop require a lot less work, even at E0, which in her case the Blessings/Curios just gives higher damage potency and loop consistency.
