Ang Baler din ang birthplace ng Philippine Surfing sa Pilipinas. Nagsimula ito noong 1979 ng sa Baler ishoot ang International film na Apocalypse Now, may dala silang surfboard pagkatapos nila mag shoot ng film naiwan nila ang mga surfboard sa Baler at siya namang ginamit ng mga katutubong Baler upang mag surf dahil nakita nila kung paano gamitin ng mga nag shoot ng film
Ermita hill has a significant role in Baler History, kilala ang Ermita hill dati sa tawag ng point Baha, kung saan umakyat ang pitong pamilya na nakaligtas sa tidal wave noong 17th century. Sa pitong pamilya din nagmula ang bagong generation ng Baler, yung mga anak ng pitong pamilya ang nagpalitan kaya dahil duon muling dumami ang population ng Baler
Maganda ang Baler hindi pa ganun ka overcrowded maraming places na puwedeng puntahan at hindi lang Baler ang may kayang ibigay na kagandahan, Buong Probinsiya ng Aurora ay may kanya kanyang natatanging ganda na kayang ibigay sa tao

Hi! Yung insurance na inoffer po nila is if ever may masugatan or minor accident within touring Sagada, tho 100 pesos lang sya siguro more on first aid lang. Di naman po sya required, suggested lang din ng mga lokal dun 🙂
